彰化地标，白天可以俯瞰彰化市景。傍晚可观夕阳，晚上可赏夜景。还有水舞做伴。大佛前有礼佛台，可以做大礼拜。绕佛三圈，功德无量。

说过，一直想来彰化的原因就是因为《张信哲》的名曲》《到处留情》，也说过我爸是一个老台湾，台湾的一切，他都一一知晓。从前，我间中会问起彰化值不值得去，爸永远都会道出一个景点，那就是《彰化大佛》了。整个风景区叫《八卦山风景区》，当中以这一尊大佛为中心，令到整个山头都充满著佛家同消闲的气色。从彰化市内看，几乎每人个地方都能看见大佛，登山后，我们在大佛的风景台上，可以鸟瞰彰化全市，台湾的建筑物不高，从观景台望出去，基本上是一望无际的。这一尊大佛，曾经叱吒一时，不过名声早已被香港的大佛取代了，不过，若大家的确是来彰化市一游时，这一个地标性的景点，的确是不得不来，不来就等于没有来过彰化市。

老实说……我到八卦山也没几次，而最近一次到这里，是为了新年排福袋，一大早辛苦的爬著阶梯，以最快速度排福袋，虽然……流着汗，但抬头看到大佛，心情顿时沉淀，用最好的心情迎接新的一年，虽然隔天铁腿，但这里的空气、氛围，的确值得推荐！

之前对这里的印象，是看着电视台转播的国际自由车比赛知道的，之后才亲自造访这里，个人感觉跟高雄寿山很像，只差有多了尊大佛。晚上可以在大佛这里看看彰化的夜景，还挺不错的，算是个可以来看看的不错地方。

This attraction is worth a visit if you are looking for nice scenery and at the same time learn more about Buddha/Buddhism. You can climb-up inside the giant statue of Buddha to learn more about his life history. We arrived here from Taoyuan Airport around 4.30 pm and by the time we completed the tour around the area, it was about 5:20 pm, just when the attraction area was about to close for the day. We were fortunate to be around the area when the city view below slowly transforming with houses/buildings started to light-up at the background - a fantastic moment for photo/video taking.

蘋果江戶

十月前后可在八卦山赏鹰，可以参考赏鸟协会网站。建议骑乘安全的摩托车上山，避免爬坡无力，要等待救援。台湾传统景点，很多长辈年轻时都曾造访过，复古景点。

池池之旅

佛像底下的莲座两侧有门可进入佛身里，设有佛堂供信众祭拜，彰化大佛前方建有九龙平常有池水舞表演，特别的节庆时可看到彰化大佛雷射秀。彰化的大佛曾誉为台湾八景之一，风景区结合文学步道整合为完整观光区，彰化大佛参佛道、银桥儿童水景公园、文学步道C-119、露天咖啡、九龙池水舞、生态旅游服务中心等景点。参观后可至文化局后加看1895史料馆，尝小西美食、或永乐夜巿。

Changhua

我住在彰化(Changhua),我可以很肯定地说这不是个来玩的好地方。基本上,它看上去就像台湾其他每一座中等城市一样。可是,如果你滞留在这儿了,你不如就去八卦山(Ba Gwa San)吧。你一出火车站如果看的方向正确,又没雾的话,就可以看见顶端上的大佛。你很有可能能走到那里,如果你敢试试走二十分钟没人行道的路的话。乘计程车应该一百新台币(三美元)不到,你一旦到了那里,就会发现要在树里、草里和灌木丛中走上不止一个小时的路。很不错的锻炼,非常有趣,还全部免费。那里上面有个地方可以买到一般的小吃和很蹩脚的纪念品。可能会花上一个小时或者整个下午。如果你有辆自行车,你会在山里骑迷路。有很多的路线可选,走着都很愉快的。要注意它们都包括很多很陡的山。

This was very nice. Big statue and a nice view of the surrounding area. I really liked the statues along the stairway.

It was drizzling when we visited Bagua Mountain so we didn't spend too much time here or walk around most of the compound. The place looked beautiful even in the dreary weather, so it would have been great with the sun out.The koi pond is definitely a nice spot for photos or just a relaxing break. Free to enter. They have a small cafe but I would not recommend the coffee.

The altitude of the Bagua mountain is about 400 m only. There is a road very famous for biking and jogging. The road no. is 139. It's about 35 km (one way) from Changhua to Nantou. If you are good. It will take about 1.5 hr to 2 hrs for biking (one way). Let's go and do some exercise.

Epic location for buddhists and those interested. Very large area with a 3 level temple. Lots to see! Would highly recommend.

Free, great view, loved the fish pond and the gardens. No guides, very few visitors when we were there (Nov 2012).

The paths leading up to the Buddah are uphill, but very short and have nice water features and paths. The view from the top is pretty impressive, too! I'd recommend going during the week- its very quiet and peaceful.

Loved the view from way up here. My friend had dropped me and a friend off here to waste some time whilst waiting for her to go pack her stuff as she was heading back to Taoyuan and giving me a lift. The view was fantastic even though it was fairly foggy. A place worth visiting even if you don't pray .=)
