新竹棒球场是全台湾最差劲的棒球场，这里没有椅子可以坐，只有用水泥做成的地板，也很脏乱，还有人在这里吸烟。看棒球时，有些地方会被高大的灯柱挡到，记分板也很简陋，在这里无法好好的享受棒球赛。连球员在这棒球场比赛，都是一场折磨，外野有些地方连草皮都没有，球员休息室也没有热水可用。不过，在这里看棒球的确能感受到热闹，因为新竹的棒球迷是最热血的！

Have you ever been to a baseball game, and three rows back there's this guy who's just going nuts, yelling, screaming, chanting? Well, everyone is like that guy at a Taiwanese baseball game.The fans spend half the game (the half when their team is up to bat) cheering, singing, and chanting for their team. It's loud, it's boisterous, it's endearing. You wouldn't believe that there are only a thousand or so people there.The back field seating area is a little more relaxed, and you're far away from the noise to not be driven crazy. Though there is food available, they are pretty cool about you bringing in your own food and beer.
