mingde dam scenic area

Although I wouldn't travel to solely see this, Mingde is a nice area in which to look over the dam and reservoir, eat some food from the numerous stands (the tea stand in particular is fantastic) and just relax for an hour or so before moving on. There were a number of blooming flowers during my visit. The number of other tourists were fairly few.There is a marathon ran here every April which, judging from the view would be very challenging.3.5 stars
