They are always changing the art that they show. But right now there is an old photo display and it is really interesting to go see.

The International Festival of Granada had its offices in this building and we had our lunches and evening gatherings there. The only bad thing was that toilets do not have paper until noon so it's a good idea to carry tissues if you are spending any time there. Large room in the back was used for poetry readings

The house where the fundacion is housed is a fantastic colonial style mansion. We enjoyed seeing the in-house artists working and to peruse their work on display.

We stumbled across this art cooperative when we saw a painter at work inside. Most of the workshops were closed but we explored the courtyard a bit and saw some beautiful paintings, photographs, and sculptures. Worth a visit!

Outrageously expensive bad art, but the building itself was nice. It's free and was one of the only places in Granada to buy postcards.

Literally, there is nothing there. We saw some paintings and that's all. Other buildings are much nicer if that is what you want to see.

I bring teams to Granada and this is one of the stops I take folks on my "walking tours". Conveniently located in town, this is a working art center with a variety of media represented from oil, acrylic and watercolor painting to batik to silkscreen to lithography...the artists are there and you can interact...put this on your list next time you are in Granada!

Gorgeous building that hosts a number of cultural group activities throughout the week. They offer both children and adult art classes. Nicaraguan Folklore Dance classes with the dance group called Nicarocalli. They also offer private and group vocal and musical instrument lessons there. You can walk in to see artwork displayed by local artists inside the building. Some of it is offered for sale.During the week you will also find concerts and movies offered free or for very low prices also. Worth taking time to stop by and checking it out to see what it has to offer and the beautiful setting inside.

We were actually pointed here by a friendly tour guide we met on the streets of Granada. There are several local artists and we both bought some artwork. There is a variety of art on display and they will help you wrap it up well for travel. Definitely worth a quick stop.

Come here to see their list of upcoming events. I learned of and attended a collaborative art exhibit and sale, and a free 3 hour long piano concert here.

Had a birthday dinner with friends. All were happy with their meals. I would go back again to have he chicken alfredo. My husband had the chicken caesar salad and was also very happy

We went for a gallery opening of German and Nicaraguan artists. Other than this temporary exhibit, there was nothing to see that seemed of any interested. Inside the front doors before you pay an admission, there are some displays, but only in Spanish.

The Fondacion is worth a visit and brings together all different kind of artists. At their galery you can buy their fine art at very reasonable prices. Ask for Sr. Sergio Canudas who is a local artist and might show you his "Museum of Microesculpturas".

I agree with those who commented that if there is no event, it is not worthwhile to go into it. I would skip it unless there was a special event, sorry!

Spent a wonderful afternoon taking in the work of local photographers as well as folklore dancers. A very special treat!
