Big shout out to ShokoGi.. Went from zero to hero in their beginner class. Really nice one on one lessons with top notch guys. They use brand new gear and their instructors can answer any question you throw at them. I had heard that kitesurfing can be dangerous but these guys show you how to do it properly and what to avoid. By the end they give you great mechanics and fundamentals to let you go out on your own and develop your skills further. I had some time left in Pedasi after the course so I rented for a day and it was a blast. I highly recommend people renting and kitesurfing a few more times after the course. Such an adrenaline rush and thrill skimming across the water with nothing but the free energy from the wind. The guys there will take you to one of their various favourite beaches where its often wide open for you to learn on. They can also help you out in and around the Pedasi/Playa Venoa with places to stay, what to eat, and where to go for whatever you're into. Highly, highly recommended and 100% worth your time if you're coming to Panama.

The shokogi kite and paddels surf school was a great exprience at my panama vacarion. I took the kite course with both gigi and shoko. Very good guides and excellent vibes!!! It took place at playa vinao. And amazing bay, even if you dont surf it worth it. Any way..the kite surfing is realleativly easy to learn and it worth every penny. The adrenalin is crazy! Its just so much fun! Highly recommended!!!
