lake balkhash

I've just spent the weekend at the lake with 6 Kazakh fisherman, sleeping in a caravan after a 7hr drive from Almaty.Much of the land surrounding the lake is steppe / scrub so not that entertaining, but the lake itself is a rich haven for aquatic wildlife plus there is plenty of birds zipping around above you too.So.. as a traditional holiday trip location there is little there, but as a fishing resort is it wonderful....

Озеро состоящее из пресной и соленой частей. Природный феномен. Отличное место для пляжного отдыха дикарем и рыбалки. Большинство пляжей озера песчаные, но есть и галечные. Вода небесно-голубого цвета, прозрачная. Ближайший город - Балхаш.

Все школьные годы приезжали в Балхаш к бабушке на лето, это просто незабываемые воспоминания. В ближайшее время обязательно вернусь в места моего детства
