Sapporo's New Chitose Airport is a food lover's paradise. As soon as you leave the gate you enter a vast market where you can sample and purchase local delicacies from fresh seafood, Hokkaido dairy products (the cheesecakes and ice cream are extraordinary!), ramen noodles (the best is found in Sapporo, some would say), and bento boxes of various styles. The generous samples that the sales people hand to you from left and right can easily fill you up and make you want to skip the next meal.However do not skip the chance to visit the Smile Road on the upper floor, where you will find a play area and cafe dedicated to the beloved Doraemon... and the Royce's Chocolate World!! It really is just a showcase factory with some interesting history on Royce's and a cute shop selling a huge range of chocolaty goodies. This is the only place I know of that sells the smaller packs (single-serving) of chocolate covered potato chips, which is one of Royce's most famous products.Kids would love this place, and it's a great way to kill time while you wait for the next flight. You will leave this place with a smile on your face. :)

Didn't know Japanese made nice chocolates from Northern Japan. Nice to see many varieties to fit the taste buds of many. Had a brief stop over at this shop as this was our first day of tour in Japan and our tour guide advises us not to buy too much as we would have to carry them for the rest of our tour which is not an intelligent way to do. So no damage done yet. The samples were good enough to let us decide what to buy on our homeward journey.

It was a nice surprise to see an active Royce's Chocolate Factory right inside the airport. It's a free attraction and you can also buy more chocolates from the store beside it :-)

千歳空港内にあり、無料で見られます。ロイズのチョコレート工場をガラス越しに見ることが出来ます。本物の大掛かりな工場ではないですが、時間のあるときにふらっと行って、楽しむことが出来るのでいいと思います。映画を見ているような楽しい気分になりました。

お土産屋さんで見たことのないロリポップ状の可愛いチョコが、2〜300円でたくさん売られています。工場でロボットがチョコレートを作っている様子には、子供たちも釘付けでした。搭乗口からはかなり歩くけど、時間がある時にはオススメです♪

チョコレートの歴史や製造方法などの展示が面白い。ガラス張りの工場もそれぞれの機械の前に説明書きがあり、見ていて飽きません。販売されている商品の種類も多いし、新千歳空港で時間を持て余したら暇つぶしにぴったり！

チョコレートのラインナップが土産屋さんよりも多いです。くまなどの動物をあしらったチョコやサッカーボールのチョコ、お土産サイズのチョコレートがたくさんあります。残念ながら夜だったので製造工場は見れませんでしたが、チョコレートの歴史が学べるパネルがあり、楽しかったです。

Uma delicia o chocolate, tem que manter na geladeira pois é parecido um pouco com sorvete. A embalagem é termica e uma graça.

工場は夕方５時まで、稼働中なら面白い。店では普通より小さいサイズの生チョコが沢山あった。味見は少な目。

新千歳空港の中で、チョコレート製造の見学ができるとは思いませんでした。チョコレートも購入できお土産にぴったりです。

元々今回はロイズを買いに北海道に行きました。お店売ってるチョコレ－ト工程が見られる所やロイズの歴史など楽しかったです。今まで見た事のないような生チョコの種類も買えましたし、また行きたいです

チョコレートが作られる過程を見ることが出します。ロボット業界世界一の安川電機がつくったとか・・・すぐ隣のショップではかわいいチョコレートがたくさん売っていて、どれを買おうか迷ってしまいます。お土産に最適です。

チョコレートワールドは千歳空港内にあります。チョコレート工房や歴史が見学出来る施設とお土産コーナーがあり、無料です。わざわざ行くものではないですが、少し早めに千歳空港に到着して、ぶらぶらするのがよいと思います

千歳空港の中にあり、飛行機の待ち時間に是非のぞいてみてほしいお店です。定番の生チョコオーレ、ホワイトから普段見かけないバナナ味やグランマルニエ(オレンジリキュール)、キールロワイヤル(カシスリキュール)など種類が豊富でした。デパートなどで買う通常の生チョコよりもサイズが小さいので、いろんな味を試せるのが良いです。紙袋もカラフルな水玉模様でかわいいので、お土産におススメです。

新千歳空港3Fのグルメゾーンの奥にあるロイズのチョコレートミュージアムです。ミュージアム内はチョコレートの出来るまでとか世界のチョコレート歴史等のスペースがあり向いにはチョコレートファクトリーと売店がありお土産も買えます。
