memu colony of a lily of the valley

I visited Suzuran Matsuri, the Festival of Memu's Colony of Lilies of the Valley twice. The festival is held at the beginning of June when the flowers are in full bloom. You can really enjoy the beautiful flowers whose smell is so refreshing and soothing. They have BBQ facilities right outside of the garden, and fresh meat (the famous Biratori beef, pork, and chicken) and fresh, locally grown vegetables are on sale for BBQ.

盲目の人がｽｽﾞﾗﾝの群生地を歩いても、ｽｽﾞﾗﾝを実感できる。それがｽｽﾞﾗﾝの香りです。葉の下にひっそりと咲くｽｽﾞﾗﾝは、まさに君影草そのものです。

５月３１日からの週がすずらん鑑賞会でしたが、直前の２８日に行きました。もう会場の準備がされていていましたが花は６、７分という感じでした。
