We just went there for a few cocktails after dinner nearby. We sat on the terrace and had a lot of fun with the staff who were very efficient and attentive. The cocktails were better than average and the whole place had a nice atmosphere. It was definitely worth going.

There's nothing horrible about the Space Bar. It's a very small venue that can feel claustrophobic at times. However, the saving grace is the staff. They are very polished and pleasant. It's just so small in there. However, the patrons were laughing and drinking all the same.

Friendly, welcoming staff, great crowd of locals and tourists, good pricing, definitely a must-visit in beautiful Phnom Penh!

I come here mainly during the daytime with friends to chat and chill out, later during the night it gets busy, the staff a customers are very friendly so pop and say HiAlso very good for all types of haircut and styling

Haircuts perfect for myself and my girlfriend. The standard of haircut here far outdoes the western chop shops. The best part about having your hair cut here is the bar atmosphere after. Owner is exceptionally friendly and is always up to date on latest trends in hairstyling for girls and guys. If you value your hair you can trust Sopheap aka Chuk to an amazing job with a complete follow up service. Would recommend for any occasion and will be using space for our wedding.

I will never believe Tripadvisor reviews after going to this hair salon.Started off fine upon visiting this salon. I looked online for a decent hairdresser to redye my roots on my last day in Phnom Penh. Chuk the owner greeted me nicely and seemed confident on dying my roots darker and going lighter on the bottom for a balayage effect. He offered me a drink, and order me some lunch across the road since I hadn't had lunch that day. Everything seemed great so far until the dying of my hair happened.He was extremely rough on my hair; brushing my hair was quite painful as he was pulling hard against my scalp especially after the wash. The worst part and what frustrated me was he got dark brown dye on my scalp all along the forehead, ears, neck and cheeks. I was wiping the dye off with a tissue while he slathered the dye on my hair. He did not individually segregate my hair and place the dye on my strands. I'm no hairdresser but I know he was doing it incorrectly, getting dye ALL over my scalp. I told him my scalp was burning and that there was dye on my forehead. He should of (like all hairdressers) clip my hair up by sections. He assured me he would get rid of it after he was done slopping the dye all over my hair in no order. He even tried to blame me why I had dye on my forehead because my head was leaning forward and the hair was falling down on my face the nerve!After he was done, he comes back with a pink liquid. I think it was NAIL POLISH REMOVER and he rubbed it all over my forehead, ears and neck. My head is on fire at the point, and the fumes from this liquid is burning my skin. I tell him to stop, he assures me to close my eyes and it's just hot the fumes temporarily. He brings out a fan while he washes the dye off my head and continues to rub this alcohol into my already inflamed skin to remove the dye stains. I am literally IN TEARS. My head is burning, he's washing was insanely rough and pulls more against my head. He burns me further when he was blow-drying my hair by leaving the blow-dryer in the same spot too long.And great news, he chargers me $65USD for the worst experience I have ever encountered. For the next 5 days on my stopover in Singapore, I had my skin around my ears and forehead scab and flake off. My skin was red, lumpy and sore. My scalp was so irritated and itchy I could not sleep for days. I returned home to Sydney to my docter, and got a prescribed Eleuphrat steroid cream for my skin and Novasone lotion for my scalp. A week and half later, my skins is somewhat back to normal now.So lesson learnt, if you have a salon AND bar. Pick ONE service because the owner obviously has no frickin clue how to dye hair and still needs more training in cutting & dying hair and possibly drunk to think how he dyed my hair was correct. He could of done much more serious damage to my skin, so I'm warning everyone here reading this and considering his services (I wish I had taken pics to show you the handy work he did to my skin). No matter how cheap he may seem, just do it back home where you know the standards and procedures are proper and correct and dont risk it honestly.

This place is very charming and the concept is Brilliant! Hair Salon during the day and Bar at night! Never had my hair cut done while enjoying my favourite cocktail drink! Thanks Chuk for being so accommodating and flexible. You made our last night in Cambodia an experience to remember!

Sopeah is a real expert when it comes to cutting hair. Spent 45 minutes getting the best cut I've had in years. The atmosphere of Space Hair salon is very homely. Played with the small dogs for a while which made my stay perfect. I'm only going to visit this cool place till the scissors become blunt.So glad I found the best hairdresser in town. Thanks Sopeah.

I've had a haircut here in the daytime and enjoyed a passionfruit martini after dark and both sides of the business work really well. It's a small place but the quality of hairdressing is as good as bigger, better equipped (and more expensive) places overseas. After dark it's fun. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and not posy at all. Highly recommended.

I realy miss you guys, as a straight I didn't know what to expect when I first went there but ended up spending most of my nights there. Every one is so friendly and helpful and will go the extra mile. Miss the atmosphere and fun times and laughs. So long ago and will be a long time before I can visit again but will defiantly go back.Bong Sva

My best and favorite place to have good time with friends when I lived in PP. Without hesitation : go there, relax, and simply enjoy.

After two months of travel through the style capitals of Europe imagine my surprise when I had the best haircut ever during a stopover in Phnom Penh. Seriously! And yes – I did return that same evening (thank you 51intercon) for a few drinks and some animated conversations with an eclectic mix of locals and expats. Great fun!

I got two haircuts in two weeks at this place because they do such a fantastic job. In fact, my wife decided to get her haircut too after my experience. They speak good english and are curious about their clients. I decided on a different haircut than I normally get and came equipped with a picture. The guy nailed it. Great experience!
