If you enjoy climbing, here is a challenge for you. To see the lagoon, you have to climb up and down some rocks. It's a fun challenge and you get a great view once you reach the top.

I haven't seen many photos of this lake on the net and even my friend who had been in Caramoan do not know about Tayak Lake. Contact our boatman 09217135668/09462796122 Kuya Jesi (kuya is older brother) he let us rent a boat good for 8 for only P3000.00 since we were just three in our group. If you are a good swimmer, you'll love this place. If you can't, bring your life vest with you so you can enjoy. My friends thought my pictures look like they were taken in Coron,Palawan.

Tayak Lagoon is probably my most favorite on our island hopping at Caramoan. This stunning emerald green lagoon is nestled behind Tayak beach. You can enter by trekking on a slippery trail and sharp cliffs but our tour guide told me that you can also enter by swimming underneath the rocks on the side of the beach.

We have been on Matukad Island three times during our visit and on my last visit I was asked by someone if I don't want to climb up the steep rocks to the lagoon...I did it...the view from above is fantastic but you have to be very careful climbing up.The rocks are very sharp!

I climbed on the sharp rock just to get to this place. It was one of my best travels being able to climb some rocks, be on top and get a beautiful view of the island. Incredibly beautiful!

the good weather let us enjoyed our stay there. Our tour guide was very helpful and attentive in answering all our questions.
