PMA still maintained the rustic Baguio feel with its enormous share of pine trees and greeneries. Since it is also a military camp, just like the United States' WestPoint, you will feel secured while learning the history of the men who passed through its portals. Visit on a weekend morning to catch their parade.

It's a very beautiful place. It's clean and quiet, and there's so much to see. They also have a souvenir shop. You're not allowed to wear slippers inside though. But if you go to Baguio City, be sure to visit this place!

The place is peaceful and beautiful, very well kept. A good place for photo ops and teach history and good values to kids. We didn't get to see the soldiers marching in uniforms though. You have to leave the place by 5pm. People in slippers and sando are not allowed inside.

You should go here before 5 pm. They were kind enough to let us in after we told them that we were from Davao City in one condition, we are only allowed to take pictures of their tanks. :)

be sure to visit PMA everytime you go to Baguio. you will never get tired of going around the academy. Be sure also to buy some souvenirs at the Souvenir stores

You can see the men marching up and down and parading, old buildings, old military equipment at the entrance. Mainly for pinoys, unless you have a guide who can explain everything to you

Anny institution connect with war isn't, what I think, worth the money of having it. If organized as memorial (of what not to do), ok, I see the point. I am mostly interested in technology (funny people are very inventive in applying technology for killing each other) which triggers my curiosity still to visit such places. There is a nice amount of 'game changing' equipment on display. In a general bad condition, but well, it isn't supposed to be used anymore and very accessible to the public. As usual with military, the place is very well maintained and clean.

There are many things to see here in the academy. Before proceeding to the main area where the buildings and cadets’ barracks are located, you may want to have your pictures taken at the “shaku” area which is just a few meters after you enter the PMA gates. You may also want to drop by at the Korean War Memorial Park which is also along the way to the barracks area. Displayed there are tanks and artilleries used during the war. Some of the places there worth seeing are: PMA Museum, Flirtation Walk, Sun Dial, Amphitheater, Tree House, Concessionaire and Boodle Bar (where you could buy souvenirs). It would be best to visit the place on Sunday morning as you will be able to witness the cadets’ Silent Drill Performance. If in case you plan to visit on the month of December, then watch the Cadets on Display (COD) and the 100th Nite Show which are usually scheduled on the 2nd week of the month. These shows are all open to the public. You will surely be entertained and amazed by the talents of the cadets.

Was amazing to learn so much about philippine's history in the military. Even better were all the exhibits. Only downside was having to go elsewhere for lunch after spending 2+ hours walking around, otherwise had a lovely time. Definitely take the trip up the giant tree house - fascinating!!

Maybe not the best place on a Sunday as I guess the students have a day off. Can imagine that during the week it's good for a visit

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) is one of the main attractions in Baguio City. It is just a jeepney-ride away from the town center, there is no admission fee, and there are some cafeterias inside where you can purchase snacks or lunch. Inside, you can see some war paraphernalia (tanks, guns) displayed in an open area and there's the PMA Museum where additional military equipment are exhibited together with paintings, photos and other memorabilia of the academy. The Museum opens at 8am - 12nn and 1pm - 5pm and admission fee at the time we visited was P10.00. If you want to see the students in uniform, best time to visit the Academy is around 11 am so you can witness some drills before/after lunch.

Tired of being called joe by everyone go here and you will not be disappointed.These guys are in shape!! Truly some good history here too. Good souvnineers just down the street but keep a keen lookout for a taxi becuase they are drop off only but there is so much to see and get your exercise in too. The cadets look sharp and the lace is clean in fact most of Baguio you won't see the usual garbage you see in most cities so refreshing and should be part of your vacation to pee eye

Recommended if you want to take a short walk and get some part of history. The cream of the crop in military normally comes from this academy.
