There is an old building nearby abandoned, a tree house and a playground for kids. A good place to escape the heat and let the kids play around.

Big area but not a big selection of birds. Good to just walk around and get some exercise while viewing the birds.

As a young child transferred from an other Island to pursue education the Tree House has been there high up on the tree with a winding staircase to reach the top girl scouts has used it as a marker, and now is still up there as The Tree House

The Pasonanca Park is an area filled with neighboring parks. Tourism can still be improved here such as putting up appropriate signs and waiting sheds for those commuting to this place.What I like about the park is the green spaces and the smell of "marang" and jackfruit.

The main attraction of the park is the Maria Clara Lobregat Park. Here is where the Butterfly Garden is which shows off a few butterflies. You may hike up the short garden walk going to the statue of Madam Clara and sit on the benches to have some small talks. The aviary was not kept well with a few birds in cages but if you just need an area with trees and birds, just find a small area where you can sit and relax, don't forget to bring old newspapers to sit on. The park boast of swimming pools which were empty when we went there except for one---with green-colored water. No restaurant around except for a vendor outside the aviary selling fish balls and some tetra pack juices.

Forget the date required by this site. My trip to Mindinao--to Zamboanga--was part of a journey I took in 1965 at the age of 19. Sold my car and travelled throughout the Philippines, assisted by a family I knew, though the journey was for the most part solo. Spent one night in the treehouse. Safe, I suspected at that time that the last thing ANYone wanted was for harm to come to me. I was truly considered a guest. The custom then--perphaps still is--is to leave some token--canned food was the term of trade then--for the comfort of the next guest. Then, found my way to a floating muslim community where I filmed some celebratory dances. Then off to Manila and Hong Kong--a shadow of what it is now--alone, all alone, and fully free. It was wonderful.

It has been for some time that i was in Zamboanga and visited this Beautiful nature park. I like the wigwams.. and the way they made it before. That was so nice a natural. This time it was made out of galvanized sheet and painted it green. this does not look pleasant anymore. But i like the totality of the place. Best for meditation. Very relaxing and very secured.

I went and saw the famous Tree House and admired the different and beautiful flowers and also went to see the Butterfly Garden.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The Park is huge and very well maintain.

Place was not accessible but park provides some activities that you can do which you can't get from the city center.

Very well kept and peaceful! I liked it how they have a public swimming pool there with a cheap entrance fee. I haven't experienced swimming there but I think it's a nice place for the public to enjoy. I enjoyed seeing those great century old trees. I love the place!
