Visited here as part of an excursion I booked to go to Moron and Ciego de Avila. I wasn't expecting much for this part of the trip but I had a blast! Our tour guide was really fun and excited to show us around. They took us out on the lake in their boats and then entered the 25km long channel at the far side of the lake... They stop along the way and explain some animals and vegetation in the channel.It was a lot of fun and it was well worth the visit!

Our party of 5 went for lunch. I had the fried chicken and it was very good. Nothing fancy, just good food. We also ordered ensalada mixa and drinks and the price was very reasonable. The bonus was a trio who sang a lovely rendition of the Beatles "Yesterday" for us at the table. I guess because we were about the only non-Cubans there that day. Lovely.

Went on the Moron excursion, had a great time with British friends I met at Tryp Cayo Coco. Had a great time on the boat, saw hummingbird in their nest. Finished off with a great meal of rice & beans with pork.

This place was amazing to see, our guide was hilarious. It was nice peaceful, relaxing trip. We meet some fantastic people on this excursion, I would do it again.

We were whisked around the laguna and through some of the side channels on a very little boat driven by a talkative and amusing young Cuban guy. Made a pleasant interlude in a mini tour to Ciego de Avila & the town of Moron.

The speed boat trip on La Redonda lake was the last stop of an 8 hour excursion day from Cayo Coco, and it was the perfect end of the day! The mangroves are beautiful, and the spray from the water felt so good. The termite monds were amazing to see and the plant life growing through out the mangrove is breath taking. Our "captain" didn't speak English very well, but he was a lot of fun and offered us opportunities to drive the boat. Thankfully no one took him up on the offer. The stop at the lake was a great experience and I would love to go again first chance I get!

A nice boat ride through a surreal mangrove forest where the natural filteration of the trees and their bark have turned the waters red. Boating through the overgrown channels connecting the lagoons is like something out of a movie.

... wenn dort noch ein Fisch lebt.Schade, wenn man mit 140 PS Außenborder durch Mangroven gejagt wird. Nicht ein Fisch oder Vogel, dafür aber werden als King-Kong und Chita bemalte Termitenhügel geboten. Wie auch an anderen Stellen in Cuba fehlt jede Sensibilität, solche Ökosysteme zu schützen und erhalten. Mein Vorschlag an den Reiseleiter in einer Höhle, die auch mit stinkenden Benzinmotoren befahren wurde, je Besucher 1 CUC (=1US$) mehr zu nehmen und damit ein Batterie- betriebenes System zu finanzieren, stieß auf totales Unverständnis.Das keine Restaurant am Steg der Lagune bot gutes und leckeres Essen mit SB-Eis zum Nachtisch (ich liebe es!).

La Redonda es una parte de La Laguna de la Leche, mayor reserva de agua dulce de Cuba. Les recomiendo el tours por sus magnificos canales y sus corteses lancheros.Los calenticos son emblematicos, mi familia, sobre todo los ninos quedaron encantados. Pancho el Pelicano es encantador, diria lo mejor de este bello lugar.

Un lugar muy bonito, el plato principal del restaurante son "calenticos de pescado" con salsa picante. Una delicia! A 12 km de la ciudad de Morón. Un ambiente tranquilo y acogedor.

Un lugar bello. Toda la naturaleza en su esplendor con mucha paz. Si están el el área de Morón recomiendo visitarlo, al igual que la laguna de la leche donde se come muy bien.

Est est un très bel endroit près de Morón. C'est une très belle ambientre calme, où vous pourrez déjeuner.

Nous avions une excursion qui partait de Cayo Guillermo pour se rendre au village de Moron, avant l'arrivé au village, nous avons eu droit à un tours de bâteau pour visiter la laguna la redonda.Le chauffeur de bâteau était drôle et il connait bien la laguna. c'est une expériance qui en vaut le coût quand inclu daqns un tours, car ce n'est pas très long à faire le tours.
