The resort is HUGE, I can't imagine how crowded it would be if all the rooms were occupied. The accommodations are very nice. We stayed in a family suite which was spacious and comforable. ...and a good ideaThe best food was at the Carribean restaurant. The rest of the food was kind of like, well......Olive Garden.Staff and service were Awesome! Friendly, clean, happy and hard working. Only 3 stars because the "all inclusive" isn't so all inclusive. They have this crazy point system where they give you 500 "points" towards a 500 dollar, 50 min massage. And, then you "only have to pay 20%", that is 100 dollars -- which what it should cost to begin with. The effect of this system is to limit the accessibility of the spa and some fun attractions and shows. Probably because the demand would outstrip the supply and they would have to confess to be "less than all inclusive".Also, the wine was horrible and beer selection beyond pitiful. But, we had a GREAT time.

Not too crowded, drinks were good. We aren't big gamblers but they seemed to have everything a US casino had.

Clean, friendly and gracious staff, fantastic spa experience, pools and beach. Just wish the restaurants knew what "hot tea" means to us Canadians!

The casino was great - it's quite beautiful inside. The payouts were decent too. Drinks are free if you are playing the machines and can find a server! It is not smoke free and I don't think I've ever been in a building where my eyes burned so intensely from the smoke. It limited my time in the casino.

My now Husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of November/Early December 2013. First of all, I love anything-Hard Rock. I live in Southern California so I usually make at least one trip a year to Vegas and I always, always go to the Hard Rock. I love it some much that I wanted to do a destination wedding at one of the All-Inclusive Hard Rock Hotels, and the one in Punta Cana was the only one that also had a casino! Beautiful beach wedding, check! Luxurious accommodations, check! Bottomless cocktails, check! Throwing money away in the casino, Why Not?! You only get married once! :) Our friends and family that joined us loved their time here as well. The hotel grounds are BEAUTIFUL. The beach is postcard perfect! The staff are very attentive and SO friendly. The pool with the swim up bar is awesome, but what is even MORE awesome is that the swim up bar also serves Sushi!!! I'm not sure if it was the cocktails, or the sun, or just the novelty of it, but that sushi was AMAZING. Seriously. GET SUSHI AT THE SWIM UP BAR! Speaking of sushi, I only have 2 negative remarks about the hotel, and one of them is regarding the japanese restaurant. We dined at the japanese restaurant twice, once at the benihana style (delish!) and once at the sushi bar. So my husband and I (after a considerable wait) were finally sat at the shushi bar. It was dinnertime and very busy, I get it, no biggy. This was our first time at the restaurant and we were't familiar with what the portions were, but we figured being an all you can eat resort and you are ordering individual sushi rolls, they were probably going to be smaller portions. So, our eyes being much larger than our tummies at that point, ordered several rolls each and figured we could take leftovers back to the room. So we put our order in and we waited, and we waited, and we waited. The sushi chef was literally right in front of us, never acknowledged us or anything. Everyone around us was receiving their orders, including the couple next to us who sat down AFTER us. It became very frustrating, and we finally asked the chef who then sort of waved us off and told us it was coming. Well, what we ended up getting (literally, an hour later) was a large plate with about 3 rolls and some sashimi. We didn't even order sashimi, but thankfully it was probably the best sashimi I've ever had! I think out of everything on the plate we had only ordered one thing. At this point, I'm frustrated by the whole experience, and I just want to quiet my growling stomach and leave. As my husband and I pieced everything together as we walked back to our room, we realized that apparently we had ordered what the chef considered to be 'too much' food, and instead of the chef or the waiter letting us know that "hey, these rolls are FULL SIZE, there is no way you will be able to eat all of it" everyone just ignored us and treated us rudely. It was so disappointing because I was really, really looking forward to eating there, and the sushi that we did get was REALLY good, but the staff were so rude that we never went back except for when we joined our family at the benihana style. Sorry for the long rant (a year and a half later and I still get annoyed! Jeeze Joanna - let it go). So anyways, the second negative remark I have is about the water. Yes, I was aware going to the Dominican that the water isn't good, you should only drink bottled. You know what I didn't think about? The ice in my cocktails! Or the water I used to shower and brush my teeth! So maybe this was a rookie mistake, but seriously, my stomach was a mess for the first 10 days until I realized, DUH, the cocktail ice is watering down the drink that you are milking. So I started ordering drinks in shorter glasses so I could drink them faster and not drink the melted ice. I also started only using bottled water to brush my teeth and was careful in the shower not to get any in my mouth. Once I figured this out, my stomach issues subsided quite a bit. Please learn from my mistakes!!! EVERYONE who came to our wedding had stomach issues due to the water, and some became VERY ill (although the copious amounts of alcohol probably didn't help..). So anyway, despite these 2 negative issues, as you can see, I still gave the Hard Rock Hotel 5 stars. It's just beautiful and SO luxurious! Worth every penny, and I have no regrets about my wedding venue!!! Our wedding day was perfect and our stay at the Hard Rock Punta Cana was amazing. One more piece of info -- the beach isn't super swimming-friendly and the rip tides can be so strong that they section off large parts of the beach you are not allowed to swim in. This didn't bother me, I was too busy enjoying the view with a mai-tai. :) If we ever decide to make our way back to Punta Cana, we will definitely be staying here again!!!

My wife and I are fans of the Hard Rock and have been to plenty of their locations . We did not stay but visited for the casino and to get some memorabilia. Casino was great with a good atmosphere and excellent service. The Hard Rock shopping has some of the better stores we have experienced. I would like to mention that the staff were great. Enjoyed the visit.

These staff at the Ciau Restaraunt at the Hard Rock are some of the best workers and people we ever came across in any Restaraunt anywhere! Hamlet Rosa, Bartolo and Yamalay.

Hard Rock Casino Punta Cana Even More FunThe management at the Hard Rock Casino Punt Cana has taken steps to make it even more fun and exciting. We have enjoyed the casino in the past but this year it seemed to be much more lively. They have added games and activities that actively engage and entertain the players. Also their new practice of sending their dancers and DJs to the pools to liven up the day was great fun especially the foam party.Their floor personnel constantly check to see how things are going for you. The atmosphere caused us to spend some time there almost every evening of our 14-day stay and we are not big gamblers. It was a fun place to spend time.

Out first day is an absolute nightmare, horrendous check in, long lines, employees standing around doing nothing but stare, every person checkin in had issues, we had 2 rooms of which one needed to have 2 beds, apparently not available, we got here at 3 and got a room at 7!!!! And it didnt have both beds, just a dingy cot and out room keys wouldnt even work!!! Kept getting transfered around, no manager came to our assistance, i want to pack to find the next flight out and leave this horrible place! No service whatsoever! Cant get into our rooms, not the right rooms or beds or building!! And again i repeat, NO SERVICE! No one is helping us!!!!!!!!!!

wouldn't let us in from the beach. walked up from our hotel and asked security where the casino was. Told us to get out, go back to our hotel & take a cab.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just visited while in Punta Cana, hotel, clubs and grounds looked very nice. Very nice casino and it was cool to get to do some gambling while in the DR. Yes it is Americanized. It is the Hard Rock, would you expect any thing else? It was nice to get away from the resort we stayed at for a night.

i loved the casino, i doubled my money, but i couldn't stay as long as i would have liked because it was too full of cigarette smoke.

I enjoy gambling, this is a great, trendy casino. The slots don't payout much, but overall I would go again. good drink service while you gamble.

The casino was very Americanized. It is the best casino I have been to at a Caribbean location. They have a variety of table games.
