I liked the variety of rivers(i.e ponds) at the bottom of the cave. Did not like having to walk up and down to get there, minor annoyance

It was very organised, clean and a good guided tour through the caves. It is a nice break to the plenty of hours at the beach. I think it was definately worth the ride.

If you visited cenotes in Mexico, I would advise to skip. Lots of tourist groups moving though, you cannot swim in them. They are pretty and definitely picture worthy otherwise.

The Cueva Tres Ojos is picturesque and has a lot hidden. There's very little interpretation, but the plant and bird life is impressive. Look for the gigantic wild honeycombs under the cave overhangs, and for the beautiful wild mollies in the cave pools. The 25 RD pesos/ person for the draw boat ride is worth the view on the other side. The site could use more interpretation but there's so much to look at and wonder about, maybe it's just as good they have spared the signs.

Pretty cool set of 4 cave lakes in eastern Santo Domingo. Worth the small entrance fee. Lots of steps going down (which of course you have to come back up when you're done). First lake comes right away, 2nd lake has a pull across ferry (pay the boatman), short walk to 3rd lake. 4th lake many people miss.....it's called the Lady's Lake, a meter deep and off to the right as you return back up. All in all, worth the 45 minutes to do.....and it's close to the Faro a Colon.

Do not let the "tour guide" follow you. You can read or you can listen from the other tour guides. Enjoy the view, cable boats, and bring mosquito repellent.

Also known as Los Tres Ojos, this was a beautiful park. I went on a Saturday afternoon. There was no crowd, but make sure to watch the price of admission. I was with a local Dominican who was able to pay $5 USD for admission. Also, make SURE to take the boat across to see the actual third eye. Most tour guides do not take tourists onto the boat, but it an absolute necessity to view the bigger and more beautiful of the three eyes. The boat is around 50 pesos which is about $0.25 USD. It was beautiful and serene.

Didn't know it was on the tour we had booked, it was quite interesting. I enjoyed the underground pools and the various rock formations.

its long I have been there but it was a visit to remember.the caves full with 'stalagmiten', I even bought 1 and have it till today. there is a river going through the caves with ice cold water, a small boat brings you to the 'other' side of the cave

I got there late pm so didn't have time to do the full tour but was interesting anyway. Sellers pounce on you when you exit so had to be very, very firm with declining to buy from them.

It's pretty. There are three little sinkholes. They are connected by steps. There are lots of steps. Ticket costs are $100 RD to enter then you lay $25 RD to use the boat to cross the water.Total trip takes about thirty minutes to explore.

We had a short stop here. We didn't want to do the 100 steps down, so we had a guide who took us to viewpoints where we could look down. He explained the significance of the place & we were able to understand about half of what he said. Vendors at the end are very pushy but we managed to walk by them ok

be prepared to walk stairs. Our guide stopped here and said this was something you must see. He was right. Be prepared for the stop with the souvenir

Hello every one!I'm Dominican and I recommends this place to visit if you come to Dominican Republic. Something you should know is that don't be limited just to see the caves, out if the caves you can take a walk and take a look from the top of one of the cave.it's nice.

Beautiful to see. Be sure to take the "boat" across to the outdoor lake. Many people don't apparently, but it was spectacular to look at. It's very humid, so keep that in mind for both what to wear and your camera. Ignore the vendors up top. Just keep walking and say "no gracias." I wanted to buy one small shell for my dad as a souvenir. The vendor pretended like he didn't speak good english, and when I insisted I only wanted one shell (they usually try to get you to buy two or three of something), he went to a higher price for the one shell than he started with.
