Took a walk through this mall and really enjoyed the variety of stores. Found some good bargains and wonderful coffee shop. There are 4 floors of stores and it is about 60 percent occupied. Will be quite amazing when it is finished and full. Did not experience Aguamundo but it will be something to definitely take your children to see.

i have take a taxi who brought me to Sambil. it was a very nice place . the stores were are very nice and the stuff you get there is good and have a frendly price . The food court on the top have very difrent kind of food and you can sit there and have a very good time . It all over clean and the staff who works in the shops are very frendly .

Went here to kill the time. It's a new mall allright with a lot of potential. Unfortunately up until january 2015 over 50% has not been rented out yet. So a lot of shops are empty! So, to kill time walking around an empty mall is kinda weird. They do have a big food court on the top level.

This is a big place. You can find everything in here, it has many parking lots with enough space, the security is very good.

in keeping with the themes of the malls in DR, all stores are grouped together by what they are, the womens clothes are in one area, the salons, in another, and all the banks in another. i had a complete mens haircut complete with straight razor shape up and shave - for the same price as my taxi took to get me there

The mall is huge and is well kept. The parking fee currently is $25 Pesos which is less than 1 USD. In the food court they have a nice movie theater (Palacio del Cine), Helados Bon, Pizzarelli, Dominoes, Papa Johns and many other establishments. They also have a zip line inside the mall going from the top floor to the third floor. "Extremely kool" They also have a small arcade for kids and adults. In overall is a very nice mall i would recommend anyone to go.

Nice designed, well-kept and the air is deliciously cold compare to the hot, humid weather from the outside. They have a new aquarium, is not the best or bigger one ever but for the city is the first. Is very overpriced so unless you haven’t gone to bigger of more beautiful ones, don’t go there since you will get disappointed. But go upstairs to the food court since it is big and have a lot of international food options.

It's the newest mall in SD and has very good stores for shopping. The Aquarium is amazing for kids.100% recommend it.

Best shopping center in DR. When I visit Santo Domingo I visit Sambil Mall 5 times, I loved the environment, has great stores, the Aquarium is something special!! I loved the restaurants specially for a coffee Cafe Santo Domingo!They have many activities for kids, great personnel and everyone in the family can have a great time.I highly recommended, the construction of the mall is amazing and the stores are great!

Sambil Mall is easily my FAVORITE mall to visit, any that includes my many mall visits here in the United States. During a recent trip to Santo Domingo when I spent a week there, I visited Sambil Mall six times. I absolutely LOVE THIS MALL. And my use of "LOVE" here is a severe understatement. My very first trip to Sambil Mall was in October 2013. I remember when my driver first pulled up to the mall, I took notice of its great looking exterior architecture, namely the large, "SAMBIL" above the main entrance, and the illuminated "SAMBIL" facade with the multicolored "M" on it.The first store I saw was IHOP, which is to the left immediately after you enter the mall. Since my initial visit to Sambil Mall, I have eaten breakfast at the IHOP many times. The service there, just like the IHOPs here in the DC Area, was great. Inside of Sambil Mall is a huge aquarium, one you can walk under. To this date, I have not seen anyone walk by this aquarium without taking a picture of it and/or near it. It is absolutely a beautiful sight.The Mall is huge and has many stores. Of course, I took notice of the stores that I normally see in malls in the United States. There is a Sony store, Polo Store, Payless Shoe Store, Victoria's Secret, Clarks, Adidas, and Adidas to name a few. During my February 2014 visit, I purchased two shirts at the Polo store.The Food Court is very nice. It has its share of American stores, along with other stores that are familiar to the locals. I took notice of the Burger King, The Papa Johns, Krispy Kreme and Cinnabon stores. Also in Sambil Mall's food court, is a restaurant named Pollo Tropical. Pollo Tropical, up to this point, has given me my best restaurant experience in the Dominican Republic. The chicken quesadillas, along with the tropical grilled wings that they serve, are among the best pieces of food I ever tasted in my life. The staff at Pollo Tropical were great and attentive. If you visit Sambil Mall and develop an appetite, please go upstairs to Pollo Tropical. You will not be disappointed. Sambil Mall even has its own taxi service. I used their taxis on several occasions and had no issues even though I could barely speak or understand Spanish. The drivers took me to my destination, which was either a friend's place or a hotel without any problems. Sambil Mall in Santo Domingo rocks!

Best shopping center in town. Since we are living in the Dominican Republic I can assure you this is the best mall to visit, it has many options for the entire family. They had activities for the kids, many different attractions, entertainment, lots of options for shopping, movies, food and more. Spent hours with my family and had an amazing time. Highly recommended

It an amazing HUGE shopping center, the biggest in santo domingo.The activities are great for all ages, and most of them are FREE!Worth taking a look at this amazing concept!

Good mall in the middle of mayhem. Great place to escape from the Dominican madness and lots of US type stores to shop at. I was surprised that this place exists in the DR.
