Absolutely amazing experience thanks to Susie and Kent. What a lovely lady and such a gent. Right from the start Susie put both mine and Jayne's minds at rest about whether we were capable of the ride. Jayne and I only met that morning at the stables but were both anxious and excited as neither of our sets of legs worked well and I knew I was dreadful at getting on and off horses! Susie has it all sussed so that even the discounting and mounting at the beach is no problem The ride to the beach was great fun and swimming with the horses in the sea was truly awesome and something I have always wanted to do. Thank you Susie for such a memorable experience which you kindly and skilfully caught on camera for me. Don't worry about your age or ability Susie and Kent will make sure you have a great time! My thanks to Jayne as well - your enthusiasm and courage made the whole thing even better!

Having never been on a horse before I must say I was a little worried. Totally unfounded. Truly one of the highlights of our trip to Antigua! Susie is one of the most caring, funny and knowledgeable people I've ever met in my life. A truly down to earth easy going person. You can tell how much she loves her job, stable and horses. Susie is from the UK but has lived in various islands so it makes her easy to talk to and she's got great stories! It was great. Next time we are in Antigua I will try to book a full day with her. Such an amazing experience and woman. Thank you so much Susie, you changed my life!

Susie and Kent are so friendly and let the 2 girls (8 and 13) saddle/tack up. They rode to Rendezvous Bay (mostly trotting/cantering) as their riding skills were good. Once on this pristine stunning empty beach Susie let them canter/gallop all the way round the beach. Amazing. We followed in truck w Kent to witness the smiles. They couldn't believe they had so much freedom. My daughter loved her lovely Welsh cob Gandalf. The other little girl really settled with her horse too. Then they took saddles off the horses and Susie took them in the sea bareback to swim. Amazing! The horses were swimming. We saddled horses up and we had a swim. Brilliant fun. The girls cantered and galloped back to the stables. Hosed them down and left very happy children. Susie was very encouraging and knowledgeable and the horses in the stables well cared for and very willing. A great experience all round.

This was absolutely the best part of my recent trip to Antigua! Suisse was amazing - very knowledgeable and quick to suss out who would work best with which horse. She is hilarious and had us laughing the whole ride there and back! Riding horses in the ocean was probably the coolest thing I have ever done in my life - every woman who was ever a pony-loving girl can relate... it was a dream come true! And the views of the mountains and the harbor as you ride along the trails were just gorgeous. Breathtaking, even.I loved the horse she chose for me - Judy was spunky and loved the water! Our rolls (and my fall! hahaha) in the ocean were the stuff of lifelong memories. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves horses!Absolutely

Suisse was amazing and, thankfully, very accommodating. We were only in Antigua for a day because we were on a cruise ship and this was the one excursion on the trip we were most excited about. We ended up getting to the stables almost an hour late because we didn't realize the time had changed when we arrived in Antigua. Suisse was really great about the mix up though and took us on our trail ride anyway. We were very lucky because this was our favourite excursion of the whole trip! Suisse was amazing, the horses were well trained and well cared for, and the swimming at the end was an incredible experience! Would recommend Springhill Riding Club to anyone, beginners or advanced riders alike!

We rode with Susie and her partner over hill and dale. Then we took off the saddles and swam the horses in the ocean. My horse Judy rolled in the water and we had a blast. Susie is a terrific lady with a great sense of humor. She and her partner banter back and forth and this just adds to the fun for all. Susie takes good pictures as well. As an experienced rider I had a great time and created a wonderful memory. I highly recommend this adventure to one and all. Thank you Susie for a great ride.Randy M.

Suzi had us laughing and having fun from the moment she picked us up. Our ride was the best experience of our trip, by far. The views on the trail were spectacular and riding in the ocean was really a once in a lifetime experience. I can't wait to get back and have another swim with gandalf. Loved every minute of it!

Suzie was great, relaxed and the horses were well behaved, we rode here twice, once on the valley route and once to rendezvous bay, we can ride so we asked for and fast ride and Suzie did not let us down, the ride included cantering and jumping over logs, a fast ride along the beach then up a sharp incline to the jump, then we took the saddles off the horses and took them swimming in the sea, wow what an experience, we rode them in bareback and when they started swimming we were basically floating, then changed to laying flat whilst holding on to their manes, this was something we won't forget in a hurry!!! Ride here you'll love it, they cater for all riding abilities from expert to never ridden - take your camera. A lovely lady and a wonderful experience. Sorry for the delay in writing this review.

We are both very inexperienced riders but try to do a trek whilst on holiday. Susie asked us what we wanted to do and we said just to amble along and then ride in the sea with the horses. We were riding Joy and Judy, both beautiful horses. We were out for one and a half hours and had a fantastic time, to take the horses in the sea, that memory will last a lifetime. Susie took some great photos for us and going to enlarge one and put on a canvas. Thank you so much absolutely brilliant.

Whilst celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary in Antigua, we took the opportunity to go on a riding experience with Springhill Riding Club. After a taxi ride down to the Springhill, we met Susie who is the yard manager. We were both very impressed by the venue and the level of effort which Susie has put into the day-to-day running of the Club. Susie was very friendly and welcoming, and we also met Roddy, a photographer working for the Wall Street Journal, who needed photos for an article in the travel section of the Wall Street Journal about Springhill. After mounting up on Gandalf and Judy, two easy-going seasoned trail horses, Susie and her rescue dog, Lucky, took us on an hours hack, where we went through all the paces, saw some lovely view of the bay, and finished by removing our saddles and riding the horses into the sea. Swimming with the horses was such an amazing experience, and something that we will always remember. Thank you to Susie for being such a fantastic host (and photographer), and wish you, the horses and Lucky all the best.

Whether you are a novice , intermediate or advanced rider, Springhill Riding Stables has to be one of the most special places to ride. Susie who is the manager and Kent her partner are wonderful kind people who run the stables extremely well and the trail rides are truly magical. Rendezvous Bay has to be one of the most beautifully beaches to ride. The horses are catered for all standards of riding. We hope if you get the chance to visit Antigua and ride at Springhill you will enjoy it as much as we did. We shall return in 2016!

We loved our ride and especially swimming with the horses! It was a fabulous experience! The staff at the riding club where very friendly and helpful. A visit here is a must if you like horses!

The spontaneity feelings from being in Antigua, for the first time, led me to the amazing experience which Spring Hill provided! I was put on a fabulous horse which was the right size for me, and got the chance to remember some basic horse riding skills. The trail brought lots of beautiful views of the island, and a once in a lifetime chance ride bare back into the Antiguan sea! Susie and Kent are a great pair, and I would highly recommend this experience to everyone!!

My daughter and her friend went horseback riding with owner, Susie. The highlight of course was taking their horses, Gandolf and Judy, into the sea for a swim. An amazing experience. Susie is a friendly guide, and made everyone feel very comfortable. Highly recommend this.

Susie and Kent were very nice and welcoming. They matched my mom and I up with great horses the right size and everything. We set out on our ride with Kent who was kind and definitely knew where he was going and what he was doing. we had a beautiful ride through all the scenery and gorgeous plants around. Kent even trusted me to take the lead while we were walking and told me where to go.A few times when the path was clear with no rocks we would canter.When we got to the beach the horses would wade through the water as we got splashed(which was refreshing). Kent even let us canter in the sand which was a dream come true. We got off the horses took off our shoes, and Kent took off the saddles. Then we rode into the ocean BAREBACK!!!!!!! Which was also another dream come true.I was going so deep and my horse loved the water so much that Kent let me take his horse into the water.(Which was taller so that I could go deeper!) We put the saddles back on, had our last canter, and rode back to the stable. Which didn't take long(was nice cause we were wet). When we got back to the stable they were very nice and talked with us we waited for our taxi. This trip is unforgettable!!!!! Kent was very nice and took photos for us so that we can always look back at it. The horses were easy to control and fun to swim/ride with. Susie and Kent were amazing hosts and I am very glad that we went.
