st. george's methodist church

we loved this crazy experience, got lots of photos of me in it. we traversed it at night and in the day too. the traffic going at some rate through the tunnel was rather scary at first.

For one week during September 2009 I stayed in St. George's overlooking the carenage. In the evening, after sunset, I could hear what sounded like a choir singing. Looking towards the sound, I saw the church building with the windows lit up with golden light. I sat down on the veranda and listened to the beautiful hymn singing. which echoed around the amphitheatre like shape of the city as it rises from the bay. The experience brought great peace to my heart.I had walked by the church earlier in the day and then later when people were arriving to church. Next time I am visiting Grenada, I will be singing too.

This historic church boasts one of the best organizations of youths during the 60's and 70's. From a nostalgic view point, one might ask, "Where have all the flowers gone?"

Chiesa stupenda da visitare! Anche se sono ancora visibili i danni causati dall'uragano IVAN.Tutte le chiese di St. George's sono veramente belle e interessanti da vedere e per assistere alle funzioni, soprattutto la domenica.

Algo pequena pero muy acogedora, sencilla y con presencia de cristianos deseosos de buscar al Senor. Alabanzas agradables, nada caribenas!!!
