If you are willing to check all the vendors out, you can bargain and get some good deals. Spices are very fresh....make great souvenirs.Duty free in town. ATM in town.

Full of produce from the Island and most of the stalls sell similar items, for the true local produce visit the sorrounding street pavements. It is still worth a visit to meet the characters that try to sell you their wares.

Large collection of what you go to Grenada for. People are friendly and excited to show you their booths. Can come off a bit pushy but are respectful if you decline to purchase. The location and views from the square place you in the heart of St. George's and an experience that you should not miss. Ask for Mamma when you get there.

Ambiance, smells, the people. We bought all of our spices here to take home with us. We hired a local person to give us the grand tour of downtown St Georges. It was well worth the few dollars.

We enjoyed the vibe of this market place and the large array of spices for sale. Sadly we saw large catering packs of US commercially produced herbs being repackaged and sold as locally produced. We know this happens, but really to prefer the myth of the products being made by the locals!A great place to walk around and feel the local vibe.

You must stroll through Market Square. The market was underwhelming but the actual town and streets are very quaint. Do not book a tour if you want to go on your own pace, many locals will take you got a few bucks. Two couples did walking tour just with someone they met there and saw all the historical places as well.

This is a great place to browse around and pick up some spices to bring home. Close to one of the malls, its an easy walk.

Worth a visit but do try to avoid the 'hangers on' that want to take you round the market. The stall holders were lovely but selling similar souvenirs and trinkets (mainly spices).

Get there early in the morning if you want fresh fish, meat, fruits and vegetables are amazing! Lots to see and experience. If you stop for a coffee or tea be aware that Grenadians love their drinks very sweet!

This is one of my favorite places in Grenada. Lots of independent vendors and locals. If you are intimidated by crowds, stay away; otherwise enjoy. The ginger fudge is fantastic!
