A lovely (slightly eerie) snorkel adventure! I would recommend doing this with a guide or tour as we did because it was awesome to get the story on every sculpture we could safely snorkel on. It also made it easier to find them all.Although some sculptures didn't actually impress me - some moved me (like the children holding hands in a circle). Not a lot of fish (but some). Definitely worth a trip and not something you get to do with any regularity - combined with a "regular" snorkelling stop (lots of fish & colourful colour) it makes for a wonderful day out.

The sculptures were great but we ended up going when a tour was there and I kept getting kicked by tourist that were not paying attention to anything but their cameras.

Great fun, must make sure you are with a guide who knows their stuff and can find the sculptures; well worth it.

Different than anything I've experienced, to see sculptures underwater. Very moving, to see the human figures looking up at the divers and snorkellers. Definitely something to try on a visit to Gren

Jason deCaeres Taylor created an awesome underwater sculpture park of human figures cast from life in a special concrete that encourages the growth of coral. His idea was multi-faceted. The most impressive piece is a group of standing figures, some in chains, memorializing Africans thrown overboard in the iniquitous Middle Passage in the days of West Indian slavery. The other facet of his idea is about the changes in the figures as coral grows & transforms them. Some day, as Shakespeare wrote, we will be able to say, "nothing of them doth remain, But doth suffer a sea changeInto something rich and strange." They can be seen by snorkelling or scuba diving. Other pieces include a standing angel, a typist at his desk, a bicycle rider.

Having read some of the reviews I was somewhat put off going here, so pleased we did. We went with a guide snorkling around the various structures. There is a new circle of statues, as well as the older one where many of the statues have fallen. There are several other interesting and clever structures with beautiful coloured fish swimming all around.

The sculpture park is ok, it's getting a bit banged up and it's not very interesting anymore. The outer reef is a better place to dive cause it's not so damaged from snorkelers and divers.

This is surely the weirdest snorkeling type activity I have ever done. This is just strange not only in the idea but it should not be used for snorkelers. The depth is just a tad too much on the windier/wavy days and alot of the sculptures are not that identifiable.I can not in good judgement tell anyone to go and see this while in Grenada. There is a fee for the tour you will go on to see this attraction and also a $1 fee for the park itself.Recommended length of visit is 5 minutes if at all.

This was a great and different snorkeling experience. As we snorkeled toward the sculpture, we saw many, many different fish. As the sculpture comes in to view it has almost an eerie look to it through the blue haze of the water. Once there it is very cool thing to see. Not many fish swimming around it though. It is something you should see as there are only a few underwater sculpture parks in the world.

Really just a bunch of sculpture sunk in the ocean. Visibility is poor when other divers stir up the sand. As an experienced diver, I found this kind of gimmicky. I prefer natural reefs and wrecks.

This is just a bunch of sculptures under the ocean, nothing to see really and not worth a tour/trip in my opinion. You can snorkel or scuba somewhere more worth your wild elsewhere.

Rented power boats and followed guide out to snorkeling site. Then he took us out in water to snorkel and see the underwater sculptures. Unforgettable.

I had the opportunity to snorkel this site just under 2 weeks ago. I was impressed by the positioning of the sculptures within the sandy areas of the spur and groove reef systems. I didnt get to see 'La Diablesse' as she is presently under reconstruction but I saw the rest. Two or three of the kids from one of the 'Rings of Children' have fallen down and I would imagine that they will be standing again soon. Its best to do a SCUBA tour for a close up look at the sculptures unless you are a great snorkeler and can dive deep and long enough to see them.

The dozen or so underwater sculptures that comprise the Underwater Sculpture Park, located in Molinere Reef are worth visiting if you are into snorkeling or diving. The water is not as clear as other Carib settings but are easily viewable in the 30 foot depth water. Photos will be much better if you are able to swim to the sculptures and take close ups. The sculptures are created with concrete and rebar and are being transformed with barnacles.

We went with ScubaTech who looked after us really well.You need to go when it hasn't rained for at least a day, preferably two, before your dive.Read up on the history of the underwater sculptures - it's interesting and will dispel some of the misunderstandings that some people have.If you snorkel as part of your dive trip, which we did, you might like to consider keeping your wetsuit on to protect your back from the sun - we all got burnt - oouch
