Papo and his first mate treated us extremely well. We did 14 dives over 9 days. Max capacity for the boat was 6 divers an as there was 5 of us, we pretty much had run of the show. Boat was roomy and comfortable as dive boats go. The snacks between dives was always plentiful and varied. Different fruit juices, as well as fruit, cakes, cookies, and sandwiches. Papo is very knowledgeable about the whole area. He is second generation diver. His father was one of the first scuba instructors in Puerto Rico as well as an accomplished free diver. Papo literally grew up on the boats and on the water. Visibility ranged from 35-80 feet. Drift dives to an 1800's wreck. It is a hands on boat be prepared to change out your own gear and bring cash. I would use them a anytime.

The Dive Shop took very good care of us as divers. We had a new diver with us and Popo watched her carefully making sure she was safe. I would recommend diving with Popo if you are diving Puerto Rico. Beautiful water and fabulous service. We felt like we were the only ones in the ocean and saw a large variety of tropical fish including the scorpion fish, many nurse sharks and one sleeping turtle. We dove a total of 14 dives with The Dive Shop and each one was different and unique.

We went out with Popo on 2 dives. His boat carried all the necessary safety equipment. The first dive was a deep dive on a wall. There was an abundance of black coral. The wall was alive with many colors. We even saw a lemon shark under a ledge. We enjoyed many fish, coral, and some lobsters at the 30 ft range. The second dive we saw about 8 nurse sharks. They were sleeping near ledges so we could see them pretty well. There were beautiful corals, many fish, and a spotted moray out in the open. I wish we had more time to do additional dives at the Dive Shop. I would highly recommend this shop and Popo, who owns the shop and is very knowledgable. We hope to visit again next year and dive, dive, dive!!

The Dive Shop Offers a great variety of equipment and vast experience and highly qualified instructors. The shop has its own boat and will take you to breath taking dive sites. I have taken all my Scuba training with this scuba center from Basic through Rescue Diver.
