Beautiful, tranquil clear blue water. The bluest water I've seen. It was just like the Corona commercial.

This runs the length of the west of the island almost, and includes some great beaches, including Governors beach. If you are staying on the island during the week head to Governors Beach and you will have the place to yourself.

Arrived by Cruise line Carnival ( Splendor ) I found the island to be beautiful except for the poverty . The water is as clear as Gin . The coral plentiful / we stayed the day and visited many places this being the best of them all . If you like friendly people and a good deal then this place is for you . I had only one complaint , we had folks with us who did not scuba dive or snorkel .. They found it hard to get into the water because of the coral reefs and there close proximity to the beach . I suggest bringing water shoes with you if you decide to visit any part of grand Turk ... I would have given it 5 stars if they would have told us about the sharp coral in public swimming areas or atleast sold them in the village .. Enjoy !!

The most wonderful sand, ultra-clear bathlike water, and the most incredible reef I've seen. "The Wall" drops off from 30' to 7000' (yes, seven THOUSAND feet) - breathtaking.

No venders here. Just a little public beach with a couple of benches and a huge shade tree. We really enjoyed the beach.

Not much to see and not even the place Columbus landed according to most scholars. Save your time and just hang out down at Jack's Shack....

This is a pretty big area (I might be wrong, but it seems to stretch from the Cruise Ship area down quite a ways) but there are a series of nice turn-offs with great beaches.

Historically Columbus is supposed to have landed on the Grand Turk Island in his quest for the New World. In view of this it is called the Columbus Landfall National Park.

Stopped here on a jeep trip around the island. We enjoyed the beach and the snorkeling off the beach

Columbus Landfall National Park is all around the island. The locals respect the water, reef and fish without question. Unfortunately on land they do not share quite the same respect of their surroundings. They were absolutely incredible people and great to talk to and share recipees. However, I really wanted to help clean the area a bit.Next trip will be to help.

Columbus Landfall National is a protected marine sanctuary, with a 7000 foot wall playing the starring role for divers, anyone who appreciates the natural environment, The Turks & Caicos Islands has the third longest barrier coral reef system in the world, Grand Turk, its Capitol, hosts myriad colourful fishes, corals, turtles, wrecks as well as a centuries old town that's perfect for a relaxing sunset.Weather you arrive by cruise ship, have been coming here for years, or an old salt like me, Grand Turk is the place to be.

Dont waste your time. There is nothing there but the beach with homeless bums and shady people walking around

The quality of the diving is superb. Water is crystal clear. The wall goes down in terraces with great coral displays and larger fish species and coral galore. If you enjoy great wall diving you have a treasure trove of excellent sites to explore in this stunning natural wonder of the undersea world.

We were diving along the wall running along Grand Turk; the corals and fish life were in good shape. The beach was clean.
