local attraction for tourist, similar to a food truck event in canada. Very busy. no place to park and very few tables.

This was a fun night of food, drink and music with a local vibe. It is in a park and food booths are set up around the sides and a band plays at one end. They also have crafts for sale. Very friendly and a great way to spend an evening out.

First thing, don't drive there. Second, don't walk after dark, dangerous roadway. Booths of local restaurants offering various dishes. Got there early, 5:30, and it was already crowded. Few non-food booths. Food just seemed so so. 4 couples all ate at different places and nothing stood out. We can say we did it but won't do it again.

We got there very early, were able to park very close on the sidewalk (we followed the cars in front of us and there were people pulling in behind us), a little after 5. This gave us time to walk around and decide what we wanted to eat. We ordered, got our food, and since there were 4 of us, took turns while the other couple stayed at the little picnic table. There is very little in the way of seating, so if you get there later, you will either have to stand and eat your food, or sit on the curb. The lines at all the foold booths also get very long after about 630. We had blackened grouper with fried plantains and coleslaw for $14 and it was excellent and the cheapest full meal we had on the island. Lots of locals come to this also, fun venue that doesn't cost you anything to go to (other than your food and drink).

We enjoyed the live entertainment, the kids loved it. This is a must do while on he island. We loved the conch guy said his name was henry. Gully wash drink was great also.

It is a great way to try a variety of food from different restaurants....we had jerk chicken, cracked conch, grilled lobster, conch fritters, corn, mac & cheese, rice a& peas and all for about $70 dollars for 3 people. The music was incredibly loud though..too loud for my little one. We got there around 5:15 PM-ish and got one of the patio tables closer to the beach and the furthest away from the DJ.

Fish Friday Thursday is worth checking out. It's a great opportunity to take a break from resort food and enjoy authentic local fare prepared by locals. The live entertainment and the Junkanoo band were a great finale to a nice evening. I suggest getting their early while the food vendors have all of their options available. The lobster sales out quickly.

Great food, lots of fun! Get there early to beat the long lines, and stay for the fun atmosphere! Compare travel notes, ask about favourite local food places!

Great food from local places around the island and for much less $$. Lines can get pretty long and it's filled mostly with tourists. Get there early to get a seat so you can eat!

Everyone on the island talks about the Fish fry and how great it is. My husband and I were not so impressed. It was crowded, very few tables for a lot of people and many people had to stand and eat their food. The food was good- we ate at Dolphins and had the snapper-fried but fresh. There were a few vendors selling jewelry and such.

Definitely a must do on a Thursday night. Great music, food and drink as well as immersion into the local culture with the music, crafts and the parade. For the food booths, many local restaurants are represented. Some portions are bigger than others. Worth watching what they walk away with before committing to a booth! Highly recommend this outing!

I hate to be a downer about this since the islanders are so proud of this event but for tourists....not so much. The food is just ok since they are cooking it under a tent and are remote from their restaurant. It is also very crowded and hard to find a spot to sit and eat. I would say skip this and just go to a restaurant and you will be happier.

We rode here on bikes from our resort at the Sands. It was a long ride but well worth it. There are multiple vendors set up in an area right on the beach in a children's park I believe. The food was excellent with every kind of seafood you could ask for. The also serve beer, cocktails, and wine. When it starts to get dark a local band usually is playing. A very cool experience.
