Incredible View, very easy access , fantastic snorkeling, great food across the street and lots of shade!

We went to Cane Bay hoping to do some snorkeling and to relax on the beach. Unfortunately, the day we were there, the visibility was virtually non-existent, and the beach was reduced to a narrow sliver. We heard that the water visibility was unusually poor on the day we went, so we're hoping to try again another time.

great little beach can get a little choppy but there is shade for those who don't like the sun snorkel and diivng gear 3 bars and restaurants offering great drinks and reasonable and tasty food of all types. Off the Wall has tremendous Pizza great owners and great locals. Look for Gail she will tell you how she met her husband and other information about the area. Great people Wonderfull sunset views. Drinks big and reasonably priced. Fun place. Eat at Cane bay larger and more indoors both great places Off the wall more personal but both worth the visit.

We camped at Cane Bay for 5 nights. We really enjoyed ourselves. The swimming is ok, but there is fire coral just off shore, I got scratched by some and 2 months later it's still scarred and itching, so be careful.

Great snorkeling, great beach, and of course...great food. must places are EATS and Off the Wall. If you want the best place to stay, just three minutes away is The Waves at Cane Bay.

the beach is narrow, the waters on the rough side with rocks mixed in, but the view of the northwest coast of St. Croix makes this a nice stop on an island tour.

The best view may be underwater, but the bay itself is something special. Particularly true in the evenings.

Though I was told that this is a nice beach in St. Croix, when I saw it I did not think it was anything special. It is along the road in the north, going east downhill from the Marriott Carambola. It was not wide and it looked a bit rough for swimming the day we went. It may be good for snorkeling when it is nice weather. Cane Bay is also where you meet with Virgin Kayak for their evening kayak tours to the bioluminscence lagoon with their unique pedal kayaks, no rowing. There is also a nice viewpoint from the remains of one of the 140 old plantations in the island.

We had no idea what we wanted to do so we took a cab to the cane bay beach. It was a perfect surprise. You could scuba or snorkel. If you want to kayak I recommend making a reservation first since they have specific tour times. We snorkeled right off the beach and it was great! We saw lots of fish and coral. Plus the beach wasn't crowded:)

Had a great day at the beach! We packed a cooler and drank wine and beer and played in the water. You can rent a chair for $7 for the day which was super cheap compared to a lot of islands I have visited.. not busy on non cruise days. We were lucky enough to miss the cruise ship people, but even with that it is still very pretty!

The restaurants food is awesome (Try Eat). The beach is fantastic. Most of the beach patrons were local.

First timer to the USVI, went with family who have previously been. First I have to say, St. Croix is a must. Cane bay was definitely the highlight of our vacation. I got scuba certified with ease and quick time. Outstanding diving! Cane Bay Dive Shop and employees are 5/5 stars. Lots to do at the north shore of the island (Diving, hiking to the tide pool, local restaurants, good music).

Restaurant, Bar and Dive shop are all on or steps from the beach. The snorkling was great. Turtles, Rays and more fish than you count. The Diving here is great as well and can be done right off the beach. The swim in and out for the dive will wear you out. We were there during the busiest week of the year and the beach never felt crowded. Plenty of parking and easy access make this a place not to be missed.

Right off the road across the street from Eat, great swimming and laying out beach, but great reef snorkeling just 45 yards from beach. Also if hungry or thirsty, eat is right there and willing to satisfy. If up for real adventurous swim/snorkel head out to buoys about 300 yards from beach for even more amazing sights.
