The place has really grown. The fuel dock has better access than in the past. Some dining and shopping choices.

We have docked our sailboat at Nanny Cay Marina off and on for 4 months now. In all cases we have found the dock and marina staff to be accommodating, extremely helpful and very willing to work with us on short notice requests for dockage and services. The marina area itself is pretty much a fully infrastructure village with mechanical support including machine shop, sail loft, and full boat repairs. There is now a new grocery which is well stocked with provisions and of course Budget Marine sell boat parts. Several small businesses are present selling touristy goods and clothing. All in all it makes Nanny Cay our 'go to' place in the BVI when we need help or supplies. Cabs are fixed prices ($16 for two people to ride into downtown Road Town) A special mention for Brendan, the dock master, for all his and his staff's exemplary customer service and to Diana at the marina office who has worked very hard to accommodate our requests to come in on short notice and suddenly want to extend our stay. The Gennaker Cafe puts on a good breakfast and lunch and Peg Legs serves a respectable, reasonably (for the islands( priced dinner. They are fairly priced given some of the other marinas in the area but are still expensive. They've just changed their phone number, have added metered electricity and their travel lift and boat yard are always busy. Lots of good things to say about the whole package. They won't pull 5 stars due to pricing and a couple of things which may well be out of their control but nonetheless detract from the experience. There is often a sewer smell in the area, it can get stiflingly hot because there is no breeze and the water in the marina itself is often grungy and sheened with fuel or oil. It's a busy marina with very good staff.

Nanny Cay is a great stopover with a nice marina, showers and good dinning options. The harbor is protected and the docks are complete with good power and water.

Caesar salad is delicious. Snapper was overlooked, pork was very good and tuna was just okay. Service was slow. Would not be a first, second or third choice for dinner

In Nov. of 2014, we bareboat chartered from Horizon Yacht Charters. They are headquarters in Nanny Cay. The marina was extremely convenient. The restaurant we ate at several times before and after our charter offered great food. The kids loved the pizza! The marina offers free showers and restrooms at the end of the cay (in the hotel area). Not sure what the name was but its offered to all marina guests. The bathrooms and showers were amazing both in design and cleanliness. Horizon Charters was very easy and professional to work with. In the future, we would be eager to station in Nanny Cay before heading out to the beautiful islands!

Simply the best marina in Tortola. Well protected, beautiful, close to West End and Road Town. Great breakfast spot, and dinner at Pegs Legs. Best Espresso on the island

When myself & partner arrived here on the 27th October 14 it was what l can only describe as paradise. The rooms were large and basic but cleaned each day. Debbie at the beach bar is truly the master of her bar and made out time at the pool most enjoyable. The marina is quaint and I totallt enjoyed my time at Nanny Cay. However, holiday was however spoilt the last few days when I realised English money had been stolen from my purse. This spoilt my expereince and I hope no one else is a victim of theft. It was only £20 which I had put to one side in a section of my purse for petrol back in the UK but on the Saturday afternoon I noticed it had been taken. The resort however is beautiful and you get what you pay for!!

Stopped in during a trip to BVI. Nice marina facilities including a few restaurants, bars and some decent shops. Island hopper coffee found here!! On the road edge is Mulligans which has satellite TV allowing for really great viewing of all the World Cup action. Food is very good too. Probably the smallest, rockiest beach on the island so no big draw there. There is a pool and beach bar which are geared toward hotel guests as others have mentioned. Found the people here helpful and friendly.
