I love this place! It's a place that refurbishes cars for the RM Auction house. It's hard to imagine, but inside this little building just off the 401 Hwy is a gold mine of great classic cars that you wouldn't even see inside the world's best car museums... and I've been to most of them.You won't believe the stuff they have here from time to time, it always changes... You will see cars here that you thought were a myth... a Duesenburg, Hispano-Suiza and even an Isotta Fraschini! Enjoy!

We got these tickets when we stayed at the Retro Suites Hotel. My husband and I like cars so we thought we would check it out. We were there two hours. Beautiful cars there and the tour guide (forgot his name) was great. He was very informative and personable. We really learned a lot. Didn't realize that if we come back in a month or so there will be all new cars. He explained how they restore these cars and what all is involved. If you like old cars I would recommend this place. And it's not expensive.

If you are a serious classic car enthusiast, this place is well worth the drive. Pebble Beach winners, and #1 cars of every vintage. Our guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable and gave us detailed information about each car. The cars on display change regularly, so the ones listed here are only an indication of the unique machinery on display: Delahaye, Bugatti, Duesenberg, V16 Cadillac, several rare Ferraris including Daytona, California LWB, Boxer. It may not be a large collection, but you can spend a few hours looking if you are truly interested. Many of the cars were models I had never seen before. Probably not an ideal attraction for young children.

We walked through this awesome place to see the classic cars. Its small but the number of cars that you can get so close to is a superlative experience. Taking pictures was amazing as you were so close and could get a lot of detail photos. It was fun.

~~~Awesome place to visit for both young & old alike!! Little boys & big boys will be in car heaven! These Classic Cars are in pristine condition & bring one's mind back into a time long gone............Well worth the drive.......Both Blenheim & Ridgetown are great places to spend either an afternoon or on a weekend getaway and they both offer that small-town-feeling! Rondeau Provincial Park is on Lake Erie & Rondeau Bay (the best BASS Fishing ever!!), which I have the wonderful opportunity to live on! RM CLASSIC CAR EXHIBIT will have you reminiscing & feeling good and when you depart you will have a smile on your face! Who doesn't want that?~~~
We visited this car museum after reading the reviews on this site. We were not disappointed, however I was under the impression it was larger. They did have some amazing cars including one that was going to auction that they expected to bring many millions of dollars. The fee seemed a tad steep for about a 30 minute max view. The gentlemen who gives the tour works for the Tourist Board, not the RM folks that work on the cars. He was knowledgeable, however he didn't have that enthusiasm that most car fans normally display. We also had a hard time finding it - it is actually 8 - 10 miles from Blenheim and closer to Chatham.
This is a once in a lifetime experience to be up to precious old antique cars and see them restored in their finest. There are also motorcycles and buses,sheriff's car, pus Duck of Hazzard car and even the Flinstone vehicle from the movie!
I've seen many classic car displays over the years but few measure up to the variety of beautifully restored treasures that we saw when we visited here in May 2013. We were told the exhibits change regularly. On display while we were there, we viewed the DeLorean from the Back to the Future movie, a Batmobile used in the series, and a Duke's of Hazard "General Lee" signed by its creator, George Barris. There was a beautiful Duesenberg, a rare Stanley Steamer and a so many more rare classics including many vintage motorcycles. If you are in the area of Blenheim, don't miss this world class facility. If you have an appreciation of beautiful motor vehicles, you will not be disappointed. Be prepared to take loads of pictures as many of these are one of a kind.
RM uses their facility in Chatham to restore classic cars to mint condition, before they go to an RM Auction somewhere in the world. You get to see this ever changing parade of vehicles. Some with racing credentials, some used in films, like the James Bond car. or the Le Mans car both of which sold for millions of dollars. This is Chatham-Kent's best kept secret, and for eight bucks is a bargain
I have been to the RM Classic Car Exhibit a number of times. The cars on display will vary depending on what they are working on at that time. One of the few places you can see craftsmen actually work on historic cars. The cars are fantastic and when finished are probably nicer than new. They also have a more less static display of cars but this changes as most are for sale or owned by customers. You could tell the tour guides love cars and will talk to you about anything related to cars or local history.
tours available and highly recommended. Rare cars on display. Harley showroom across the parking lot.
Went here a couple of years ago and was just blown away at the prestigious cars that were on exhibit. Really worth going into. Even had a car like James Bond drove in the movies and an actual race car.
RM is one of the world's foremost antique and collector automobile auctioneer and restorer. This museum, which is constantly changing, houses a large number of fascinating vehicles. Here, you can see real Dukes of Hazzard cars and travel through the history of the automobile. I have been there with friends and family a couple of times, and each time the person managing the museum has given us a one hour history of many of the cars. Racing cars worth a fortune, cars from TV series, cars from a company that was ahead of its time, but suppressed by the big 3. Probably the most interesting (and least known-about) attractions in Chatham-Kent.
