For one of the best golf tracks in the Kawarthas you have to try Six Foot Bay just south of Buckhorn, On. The course is perfectly manicured and is always in great shape. The greens are large and the fairways are tree lined on both sides on many holes. Great sand traps and water hazards situated I very strategic locations. The track wanders its way through forests of Lodgepole pine trees where you always can find a hole out :)After golf Six Foot Bay has a very unique restaurant and bar area with many different sections with sports memorabilia many featuring hockey legends. Also there is a great patio area under a pergola with fans and umbrellas overlooking the 18th green and fountains in front. The bar offers many local brews on tap Creemore, Steam Whistle etc. The menu is typical of a golf resort and the food is prepared fresh with great burgers and huge breakfast offerings.
