Well you know when Zellers left and the only remaining large format store remaining is a Sears (also about to close in Canada??) that this mall is in trouble. The owners have attempted to improve the facility by building stand alone stores and robbing the downtown of all of its commercial viability but such poor retail planning that they can't keep the retail outlets that populate the bulk of the mall. You know you are in trouble when the "big" new attraction is a dollar store located within part of the former Zellers and that it isn't even connected to the rest of the mall. Most other successful retail malls have branding, purpose and strong control over the format of the advertising and fixtures within the retail units - well not here! Get with it and hire a serious retail consultant or just pack up and burn the place down! Why would I want to come here for anything???? The best thing going is that the Rainbow cinemas were reinstated from the former movie theatre operation. Come on and try to make this work even if the main street has been destroyed by the predatory business practices of this mall.
