3 West is located on Highway 3 outside of the "urban" area of Fort Erie. The bar has a dark feel - more suited for a drinking establishment then a "grill" - and the food on the menu is mostly fried - not sure why they chose to call the bar a "grill" as well. The décor is probably mid-1990's - except for the promotional items from alcohol companies that line the bar from the last few years.Service was good, and the food is OK, but not what I expected when entering a restaurant advertising it is a "grill" in it's name - ended up ordering French fries and wings as the menu is limited. The crowd was more of a drinking crowd - not really their to eat, but to spend the evening socializing with the bar and other patrons. We had several uncomfortable moments as some of the patrons that have been enjoying the bar for awhile kept trying to strike up intoxicated conversations with us.The staff was friendly, but was partaking in the "party" at the bar - our waitress did enjoy a shot or two from male customers while serving us, but still was prompt and courteous.I would not bring children to this restaurant, but if you like to drink and socialize, it's your type of place!
