RESTAURANT: I love in the winter when they have their 60 bucks per couple dinner (includes a shared app and desert and an entree for each). The restaurant has great food and have options for vegetarians. If you call ahead, the chef will also whip something up for you (if you don't like the vegetarian option on the menu). Good food, great atmosphere. Dining outside in the summer is fabulous...can't beat the view. Wines are pricey. SPA: I love this spa. I have had the Traditional Cobble Facial a few time (lovely). I had a body scrub with the Vichy shower once... didn't love it b/c I was cold under the Vichy shower. Use of hot tub, fitness centre, steam room and outdoor pool (in summer) before/after treatment is nice but they don't always remind you of this when booking. Be sure to ask the best time to make use of facilities.

My husband Bob and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Cobble Beach in September and we can't say enough about it. It was wonderful, we stayed for several nights and played golf on two of the best weather days of September! The course was beautiful, albeit challenging, with very fast greens. We loved it. The course is located all around the Inn and the views from each hole were spectacular. From the Sutton Suite we could even watch golfers on both the 9th and 18th holes, as they meet up between the Inn and the Bay. The suite was absolutely beautiful and luxurious. The people were wonderful, both in the Inn and the Pro Shop, and the golf personnel were amazing! We have stayed at other golf resorts but can truly say this was the most enjoyable. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the stay very memorable.

What a beautiful course. Fun to play, excellent condition, fantastic mix of holes, scenic beyond belief. A bit on the pricey side compared to what I'm use to paying but definitely good value if you feel like treating yourself. I only wish it wasn't a 2 1/2 drive from Toronto. My one and only complaint is the tee markers are terribly marked. They are small rocks with a small lighthouse (their logo) painted the color of the appropriate tee (ie: red, white, blue, black). The problem is they have the painted part facing the fairway and it is not visible from the cart path. More than once we went to the wrong set of tees.

Fabulous golf course that is well designed. The course is in beautiful shape with challenging holes and very fast greens. The vistas are amazing. It's a must play golf course. The only opportunity would be in the service side. The snack bar didn't open until 9:00 and we wanted coffee, so they sent us over to the main house. A minor thing but is an easy fix.

We played at the Magnificent Cobble Beach golf course, stayed at their Inn overnight and dined at their restaurant. All in all a wonderful experience! The rooms were comfortable and the dining experience was exquisite! The greens on the golf course were so challenging that we had to play a second round, just to see if we could actually putt! A gem of a place right on Georgian Bay...

You wont be disappointed. A challenging course, fast greens, wide fairways, not so forgiving rough, great view of the bay, great food. Wow factor 5 all the way!

Cobble Beach Golf Links is a great test of golf while being fair to the golfer as well. Cobble Beach has a fantastic and friendly Pro Shop staff headed up by the very affable Head Pro, Warren Thomas. They have great on site accommodations from suites in the INN to cottages overlooking Georgian Bay. The course with it's multitude of tee blocks can play as long or short as you like it. The traps, and bunkers are very well maintained with awesome sand. Their Golf Course Superintendent "Brent" is second to none. If you are in the Owen Sound area you will not want to miss this course, it is my favorite by far.

Friends visited our cottage for the week and are a id golfers. We tried it here and loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Course was immaculate. Even the halfway house burgers are better than any other golf food I ever had. Picturesque views. Cart is preferable due to the multiple ups and downs over the escarpment. Little $$$$ but worth the splurge for the round and the experience.

I visited Cobble Beach with 5 of my golfing buddies on July 30th. We have visited Canada, from the states, for the past 19 years for a week-long golfing vacation. We have had the opportunity to play approximately 35 beautiful courses - public and private in that time period. Believe me, we are very discriminating when it comes to our golf..Cobble Beach is hands-down one of, if not, THE BEST, facilities we have visited. The course is outstanding, but fair. The views are spectacular along the Owen Sound. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food at the turn was great.I have also had the opportunity to play Bandon Dunes, Torrey Pines, courses in Bermuda and Hawaii, and Cobble can more than stand up to the comparison.I hesitated to write this review, because it's kind of an out of the way hidden gem, and I don't want to see it become too crowded, as we plan on returning.Top-knotch in every way.

I had lunch out on the patio with my parents. An amazing view, great selection for lunch. I had the seafood crepes and my parents the fish and chips both so good. I also saw other food come out to the other table and all looked good especially the salads. They are huge!

Meticulously maintained fairways and greens. Top notch facility with a great driving range and practice putting green. Course is challenging without getting carried away with terrain and water hazards that make for a frustrating day. The views of Georgian Bay are fantastic! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and there is a nice restaurant and bar to finish up the day in. Snack and beverage cart roams the course so you can refuel during your round of play. The Inn at Cobble Beach provides a great place to stay while you enjoy either a weekend or a week of great golf

Visited this golf course again and it truly remains one of my most favourable golf experiences. The course is immaculate from the fairways to the rough to the greens, and even the traps (of which there are 96) are special. The greens were fast and tricky to read. You definitely do not want to land your ball on the high side of the greens here.If you love to golf you just have to experience this place at least once.

Unbelievable golf course, tough as nails !!! Club house facilities are top notch, breakfast satisfying and filling. I will be back with my wife for a stay. I can Golf and she can Spa. Difficult location to get to for a day of golf book a package and stay a few nights. If this resort was closer to Toronto it would be one of the top two in Canada. Beautiful place and staff. A must play.
