This iconic Owen Sound park is great for families and picnics. There is an ice rink free to the public in winter and a decent restaurant as well as tons of wildlife. Great spot!

We love walking around this park when we are in Owen Sound for dinner. We usually go to DQ and enjoy the park at one of the picnic tables.

The Harrison Park Inn Restaurant is located in Harrison Park! So it's a great location, before or after a meal, take a walk around and don't miss the bird pens. Lots of swans, ducks, peafowl of different varieties. The Inn has great food, a pretty good variety on the menu, and always has specials of the day. Large servings should suit most people ... it's often busy because it is a favourite local place. If you go late November or December, it's situated right in the middle of the Festival of Northern Lights, so the bonus is a wonderful Christmas light show. A great time to go to the Inn for a meal.

If you visit Owen Sound make sure not to miss Harrrison Park. It is beautiful both summer and winter. If you visit around Christmas time the Festival of Northern Lights is great

Harrison Park is a treasure for the community. When the Christmas lights are on, it's really fun. But the highlight is the story of the nativity with lights set to music - it's delightful must-see.

I dropped in for lunch the other day and had the deluxe hamburger and fries. Normally when I come here there is a long wait before you get your food, but that day it was relatively on time. My friend had a toasted western and she said it was delicious. My meal was great. Reasonably priced.

I can keep looking at the Salmon go back to their spawning area for hours and hours. The Owen Sound Tourism is doing a good job at promoting this event.

As a local I love coming down here almost daily to feed my favourite goose and the other birds. On a lazy hot afternoon I'll enjoy mini putt or a nice meal at the Harrison Park Inn...they even have a take out window. Kayaking is great here since the water is not fast moving and shallow, which is great for tourists since there are kayak, paddle boat and canoe rentals. Weaver's Creek waterfall and Inglis Falls waterfall are close by as well...you can even hike to them!

Playground, basketball court, paddle boats, outdoor pool, restaurant, waterfall, tennis court, water fountains, gardens, mini-golf, and probably a few more things I'm forgetting to mention, haha. This is a great spot for families with young kids and should be a top destination while visiting Owen Sound.

Nice park to enjoy the wildlife, walking and the waterfalls. Easy to find, park and close to town. It has a pool(closed), camping and a restaurant too.

There was little open in town on the Sunday evening we arrived. We were directed to the park for a late dinner. We were pleased to find an interesting bird sanctuary to visit and lovely trails to stroll. This would be a great place for young families with a very well equipped playground.

This is a typical town park but the habitat is quite varied and therefore has some good birds to be seen in it especially if, like us, you are European birders. Worth an hour if you are in the area. The sandwiches we bought from the cafe were excellent too!

Made a quick stop to the park to play on the swings. This park has something to do for all ages of children.

Beautiful park full of memories for our family, we have had many family reunions here, its always nice to go back and enjoy all the birds to see. Nice playground that was updated a few years ago. Lots to do here and see.

No doubt in my mind...one of the best burgers around... The coleslaw served along side is excellent also...
