Up here quite often. The falls are great especially in the spring. Also before may you can walk over railroad bridge which is very nice. Great walkway along the lock. During summer you can see many boats going thorough the locks

As the snow and ice of the Kawartha Lake area melts in springtime, the run off of raging water over this Falls is pretty spectacular.Enormous flows of water drive the hydro-electric turbine, while the excess flow is diverted over the Falls.Fenelon Falls is also a great little town to visit. In summer, the Falls Restaurant offers an outdoor balcony seating area where you can enjoy a meal and have a bird's eye view of the Falls at the same time.Definitely worth visiting.God Bless

Fenelon Falls is a charming village in the heart of the Kawarthas that is built around the Trent Severn Waterway. Lock 34 offers a lovely grass park with plenty of shade and picnic areas. You can stroll up and down the edges of the lock and the waterfalls on paved, accessible walkways. The boats line the cannel waiting for the locks to open, granting them passage for the next leg of their journey. Plenty of shopping, eateries, parks, site seeing is everywhere. You are within walking distance to a lovely beach and waterfront playground. Ideal day trip or weekend retreat.
