I started golfing not to long ago and golf a minimum of 2-3 times a week. I have been all over golfing in the Ottawa area to QC. Equinelle golf course is a great spot to golf. The greens are nice and never patchy like some other courses I have come across the grass is always cut very nice and the fairways are great. The ground in nice and soft giving to the ability to dig and get under that ball. I have been to others where they are like rock not very fun. They are very strict on the game, to when you tee off to how fast or slow you are playing making sure everything is right on time but this is great at the same time make for a smooth running system. The only thing I dont like about Equinelle is that its pretty pricey over some other great courses as well. Its about $90 some odd dollars for a 18 and a power cart. On the other note if you plan on playing just the back 9 before 7am its not to bad

Full disclosure here... My wife and I live on the course and have for 3 years. The course seems to just be getting better and better every year. For me golf is a complete experience. So it begins with the staff at check in who are both courteous and professional. Then meeting with starters and marshals who seem to be genuinely interested in making sure you have a good day on the course. Pace of play is also important to me. The posted pace of play is 4:30 that is the way they set up their tee times but most of my rounds are played earlier in the morning so I rarely go past 4 hours. The course itself has that nice balance being both fair and challenging. Play from the right tee boxes for your game and you will have lots of fun. Those of us that play the course a lot have our favorite holes and I am sure that you will come away with your own strong opinions. My favorite is 9 which is requires 4 good shots for a par. Trust me when you par number 9 you will feel good about your game...All in all one of the best maintained courses in the area, a multiple award winner every year and a great place to play. Have fun....

If you like manicured fairways and challenging greens you'll love Equinelle. Probably the best kept course in the area.

I have lived in the eQuinelle Golf community since June of 2012. The golf course is very central to many things that happen here. The course and it's management staff have worked very hard to make eQuinelle the place that you want to golf. They have an excellent driving range and pitch and putt area. The staff are very friendly and professional in their approach to customer service. The course has holes that will challenge you, and make you think about your landing area and approach. The greens are fast and tricky and if you want to score well, you must take pin placement into account on your approach shot. The course is very well maintained and the staff are always trying to find ways to make the course even better than the last time you played there. eQuinelle is also a very beautiful course. The stands of hardwoods, the undulating fairways, the many sandtraps, and the beautiful grass, make it a grand place to play the game. There are days when it all seems to be just magical. The course management last year provided many opportunities to take advantage of golf discounts which is always appreciated. I have been golfing for over fifty years. I have golfed throughout Canada, in the USA, France, and Germany. eQuinelle has all the attributes of a world class golf course. I am looking forward to this season.Rick B.
