Thunder Lake has awesome Lake Trout fishing and is a campers dream. Clean, well maintained park that has activities for the entire family.

Nice quiet camping grounds, firewood was a pretty cheap. We even had a squirrel come and help us out with our food. Spent a weekend for my daughters Birthday, was a great time. There's a trail here that leads up to a beautiful rapids. you can also see the highway bridge from this walk bridge. The swimming area was really neat and tidy. Would love to go back again.

I was surprised by how quiet this park is. There were wild strawberries lining my site and because of the low traffic, I was able to chose a beautiful spot by the beach. Swim area is very shallow and boat launch at end of park seems to get all the traffic. Beautiful!

Great place for a swim, or a camp out. Part of the Provincial park system but run by the City of Dryden so prices are a bit high. There is no store available but there are facilities within a couple km down the highway.A full shower and laundry comfort station is available along with electrical and full service sites.

Great camp spot with clean facilities and some really good entertainment over the summer. Enjoyed a seasonal lot and had all the conveniences of home but some really beautiful scenery. Great stop for a week or just overnight. The lake is great for swimming and the grounds are well looked after. Lots of room for camping of all sorts from motorhomes to tents. New playground for the kids. Bring you marshmallows and enjoy the fire-pits at every site.

I have always loved this park just east of Dryden 15 minutes for it's scenery. There are trails to explore, a rapids/waterfall on the river, with a bridge over it, campsites, places to cook, boat launches...it's been through several owners and is now upgraded again. It's beautiful and quiet, a great escape.
