To start this winery has amazing views and is absolutely breath taking. I went here with my girlfriend back in August. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I am a very big fan of how Flat Rock produces their wine. Not only is it environmentally conscious, but it is so tasty. I have since joined their rock star club, and continue to receive amazing wine year round. I highly recommend this place.

This was the first winery on our Al Dente winery tour. Loved this winery and of course they had a wine to please any guest.Very interesting to hear about differences in growing season of different areas of the property.

Often visit this winery and we are always are treated well as a guest. This weekend however was even better than usual thanks to the great social and informative skills of a very nice, knowledgeable worker and wine student there by the name of Ryan. Ryan, you were so great to chat with!

My husband and I, along with 2 other couples, booked a wine tour on the August long weekend - Flatrock was our first stop. It was the perfect way to kick off our day and provided a memorable experience for us all. Upon arriving our guide greeted us smiling with a glass of wine in hand and escorted us our onto the spectacular balcony overlooking the vineyard, where he laughed and joked with us while telling us about the history of the winery and the geographical growing conditions for their vines. Then we were poured another glass and shown outside to Nadia's Vineyard where we could see how the grapes are grown, trimmed, trained, and even how other nearby plants help in the growing process. Finally, we were led into the fermenting room for another taste of wine and to learn about the process of actually making the wine in their gravity-centric winemaking process! It was a very in-depth and enjoyable hour! At the end, we visited the tasting bar and had a few more sips - all in all we tried at least 5 wines! My husband and I went home with the Gravity pinot noir, Nadia's Vineyard riesling, and Riddled bubbly. This is one vineyard in the Twenty Valley I'll definitely be visiting again - very interested to try their Twisted ice cream. Cheers!

We very much enjoyed our winery tour at Flat Rock Cellars and learning about their wine-making process. Our guide was excellent & knowledgeable. It included 3 wine tastings, we got to walk through the vineyards and into the cellars. The information was so interesting & it gave us a real appreciation of what they do there. Flat Rock Cellars are known for their pinot noir but their whites were fabulous...we brought 2 bottles home with us. Don't forget to enjoy the scenic views on their back patio. A great winery to visit and the tour was definitely worth it!

This is a place you must make a trip to, the view is spectacular and the wines are so great, shows an appreciation for what Ontario can do. Checked out where they make the wines and it was so cool, was told by the tour guide that they do everything by hand, and even crush by hand, and its true! you can see the harnesses on the walls where people hook up to, such a cool experience overall.

For years now, Flatrock remains my first love in Ontario wine. Their delicious whites and gorgeous Pinots are one thing, but what has time and time again drawn me back to visit is the warmth and kindness of the staff that surrounds this vineyard. Ed, the vineyards owner, is a perfect example of what patience, dedication and vision can do when growing a company from scratch...literally. Visit them and be taken away by their fantastic view. Make sure to visit on a weekend as they sell little pies to pair up to vino and you can sit on the patio and enjoy! The only complaint I would have (which is not even a complaint as much as I just hope I can change their mind) is that this vineyard does not host any weddings. In a heartbeat, I would have mine there with a food truck in tow to keep us all fed, cases of Flatrock Riesling and Twisted series wines, and live music to keep friends and staff dancing all night.

Made a stop here as part of a wine tour. Beautiful winery on a fantastic piece of land. I am not a wine drinker, but their wines were very tasty. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

I was at Flat Rock back in July. We had a great tour guided by the founders granddaughter, which I thought was very cool. She was clearly interested in the winery and the history. The tour was great, and the wines are fantastic. The view from the back deck is amazing.

Had a great tour around this place and didn't really know much about wine.By the end of the tour I felt like I had learnt a lot about wine and really enjoyed it.The views from this place are not to be missed and we were lucky enough to be able to see the Toronto skyline when we were there. If you are in the area, you must give this place a visit for the view alone if nothing else.A must visit!

The only thing that this winery has going for it is the view. Don't bother spending your money on the wine, over priced and sour grapes. None of us liked the red or the white. Staff is ignorant as well.

Beautifully located with amazing views. The tasting rooms 270 degree view is hard to beat but the slim selection (only 2 reds, both light pinos and a few whites)makes this an easy vineyard to pass up.

I live in the area but had never visited this winery. I won a wine tour at a charity auction and invited two other couples. We had such a lovely time. The view is spectacular. Our tour guide was Deanna. She was very knowledgeable and her passion made our experience so much better. I do not drink a lot of wine but thoroughly enjoyed the sampling and learning about their eco-technology.
