We have been to Megalomaniac several times. Our last visit was during the Ice Wine Festival. They offer a nice selection of wines. Stop by and enjoy a tasting

I will continue to visit Megalomaniac but i preferred the tasting room in the bunker. There are many colossal edifices in wine country. Another one was not needed. It looks okay with all the chrome and glass on top of the hill but the bunker was unique. There was a feeling of being part of the operation. But with a name like megalomaniac what can one expect. That said, the wines are still very good if a bit pricey for what you get.

We visited this winery this weekend for the first time in a couple of years. It is no longer just a bunker. They have built a huge facility atop of the bunker with ceiling to floor windows with the most impressive views of the area and the lake. The numerous beautiful lit crystal chandeliers can be seen from the street as you make your way to the winery. In terms of optics, this definitely is the tops. The wines are very good and the servers friendly and knowledgeable. The big BUT here is the fact that the tasting fee of $5.00 for 4 wine tastings was NOT waived despite the fact that we and our friends each bought two bottles each. We have done many, many tastings throughout the Niagara region and this is the only winery we have come across that did not waive the tasting fee when we bought wine. This left a very bitter taste in our mouth and we decided that despite the beautiful views and venue, this would not be on our list of wineries to visit in the future. There are numerous excellent landmark and new wineries in the region that waive their fee or don't charge one at all that we are happy to frequent. Guess someone has to pay for the impressive chandeliers.

My wife and I have been here a few times. On my last visit I had an amazing experience. The customer service I received was by far the best you could ask for from the wine tasting to the final purchase. This is one of my favorite wineries to visit. If you are in the area you should make some time to stop by. To the staff that worked on June 21 thank you for the great customer service.

Another strongly recommended vineyard in the Vineland/Jordan area, and closer than Niagara on the Lake. This vineyard prides itself on unusual labels, and names for its various vintages - many with a story behind them....The main building is newly constructed, and may even not be quite completed yet. Nonetheless, a beautiful spot for a "taster" of wines, and a mini-tour of the facilities.

Newly renovated. More varieties, great visit. Fantastic selection of wines and would be a great venue for a wedding or corporate event

We came here to visit for the first time on a recommendation from our B & B owner. What a fantastic place. The building itself is beautiful, with views of every place imaginable - Niagara Falls, Toronto, even the ArcelorMittal plant in Hamilton :)......the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and we enjoyed our tasting. We loved the label and the names of some of the wines, really creative and different. We enjoyed the reds, which normally I do not particularly enjoy from this area. The credit card machine was not working, so we paid cash, they were very patient and helpful. I would love to host an event here! I look forward to returning.

Megalomaniac offers our guests extraordinary wine, facilities and experiences.Groups are welcomed, and the tour and tasting fees are specified ahead of time as an attempt to prevent misunderstandings.

Megalomaniac offers six wine choices under $20, including 3 whites, 2 reds and a rose. Our stemware is large (befitting our name) so samples appear smaller than they actually are.

Beautiful vista. Pleasant staff. 4 tastings for $5. R.The local reds were great. Try the Cab sab grounded. Give them all a try :)

Even though the wines are a favourite in our home and need no more promotion, the winery and the cheek of the marketing will likely see us at the top of the Niagara escarpment at Megalomaniac yet again. The staff are always helpful and fun, the facility is first rate, and the view worth the hike. Our everyday wine and the wine we serve at special occasions are both from Megalomaniac.

Every time we go here it is an inconsistent experience with regard to the service. This was our first visit to the new space. It's opulent but lacking as far as feeling welcome goes. Four of us waited several minutes at the bar with no acknowledgement, greeting or even an 'I'll be right with you'. Several staff were conducting tastings, one had just finished with guests, he could easily have done that and then done a tasting with us. But instead he tidied the bar sink area. Wonder if the staff are living up to the winery name... Too bad because the wines are all excellent here. I would give an excellent rating to the wines and a terrible rating to the service. We left.

Beautiful winery with spectacular views from the escarpment. Unfortunately our server was not well trained and was not very informed about the tasting samples. Also the pours were extremely small (thimble sized) in comparison to the four other wineries we visited that afternoon. You need to be raising that bar Megalomaniacs! There is some stiff competition out there.

The location is stunning - the new new extension of the building is beautiful - the wine is delicious - the staff knowledgeable and attentive. An all around incredible Niagara winery. Can't wait to book a tasting when the third level is complete.
