tremendous view of the water, friendly service and lovely dining room. patio deck is a comfy combination of lounge and table seating. great food, good selection and really good value - 10oz ribeye w/frites for $24, you can't beat that! lots of good local wine by the glass, thoughtful and fun menu with something for everyone.

The view is magnificent. The service was good. The food was pretty bare bones. We had Steak Frites..steak was tender & cooked perfectly, fries were just "freezer bag fries", not one other thing on the plate..no little veggie or salad item...We found it a bit pricey for what we got.

This is a country golf course with wonderful views and a good test of one's golf skills. A sufficiently hard course for a good player and yet very friendly for the relative beginner. The restaurant is under new management this year and is much better than in previous years. The whole area is beautifula nd well worth at least an overnight stay or longer if possible.

We play this course once a year as. Part of our "boys" weekend. We know it's not Glen Abbey but the course is very enjoyable and challenging enough for everyone. I play numerous rounds a year and must say that I might look forward to this one the most. Extremely friendly staff, great course conditions and a fair price make this course one of my personal favourites. See you next year!!!

I believe the food service has changed hands and the ambiance is beautiful. The food is pub fare, but it's a great burger and the view is to die for. Relaxing with a beer and a burger! Yes please, here is lovely.

Need to re post this because people should really know how bad this place is. Possibly the worst dining experience of our lives. we were the ONLY people in the restaurant and the waitress serves one meal (rubber steak) then proceeds to tell us she forgot to plug the other meal in the computer. The "chef" (using that term very loosely) is standing 2 feet to the left. The veal ("special" of the day) comes and it isn't even cooked. They offer one free glass of wine and that takes 15 minutes, then we have to get up to pay. We are the only people here.Astonishingly bad food and service. Avoid at all costs.

The Picton Golf and Country club was a very pleasant and user freindly course. My wife is a beginner and wanted to ensure that we were not holding anyone up so they scheduled us at the end of the as we requested. Really a course for those of any ability. Fees were reasonable and everyone was very freindly.

Myself and four girlfriends had breakfast here on a Sunday in August. We sat on the back patio overlooking the lake and it was beautiful. It was pretty quiet being outside and so close to the course, but the food was delicious and quite cheap! Great value! If i'm ever in the area, i'll go back for sure.

Every time we go to Prince Edward County .... which is a very magical place ... we always stop at the Picton Golf and Country Club to have lunch. The service is great. The food is very good and the view is superb! Perched on top of a cliff overlooking the bay, the restaurant has an outdoor eating area that affords unobstructed views of the water, the boats ...big and small ... from sailboats to power boats to tankers on their way to or from the cement plant dock. Inside the large, picture-windowed restaurant, the atmosphere is more formal but still very cozy and relaxing. It is, however, very difficult to stay inside when the weather is beautiful.I usually order the lobster burger which is amply stuffed with lobster salad and comes with fries. Yum!

I have visited this golf courses restaurant on several occasions. You do not have to be a member to eat at the restaurant. When I come to visit with friends, we like sitting outside on the balcony overlooking the water. Beautiful view. I have not had anything there that I did not enjoy. I especially like their Philadelphia Cheese steak sandwich. Food is reasonably priced and excellent service.

Great, scenic breakfast. We sat outside looking at the water on a lazy morning. Interesting options for breakfast included a breakfast taco.

Great place with a great view!!! Well-priced and varied menu with traditional fare plus added specials that suited all 4 palates ranging from 2 adults and kids aged 14, 9. Good sized portions; very friendly staff. Formal place setting presentation with relaxed and comfortable feel. Plenty of space and quiet section: we dined in the Room with The View while golfers coming back in were either out on balcony or other part of restaurant. NOTABLE: Our waitress noticed upon arrival that our table was directly overhead air condition blowing in our direction and turned it down without having to be asked. She was very attentive to the surroundings and comfort of her patrons :)

I visited Picton Golf & Country Club for my cousins wedding reception. We stopped by mid week to decorate the venue, during which time we were offered complimentary refreshments and younger members of the group (I so wish I were still a child!) were given activity sheets and crayons. The Club House is on two floors with many exits. The facilities are superb with rest rooms fully equipped with everything you may need (hair dryer, hand lotion etc). Nothing was a problem for the staff as they catered for young and old that weekend at the Reception. Everyone had a lovely evening at such a beautiful lake view venue. The only downside were the mosquito at night but then they were everywhere in Canada so I shouldn't complain!
