orangeville brampton railway (and santa train)

This was our first year riding the Santa train. They severe hot chocolate and gingerbread cookies while a guitarist strolled up and down the aisles singing carols. The best is that you get a one-on-one visit with the Big man himself at your seat. Our 6 month old loved it! This is going to be an annual adventure for us. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to get tickets.

We just returned from the santa train we were all excited, my wife purchased 12 tickets total for friends and our family... Well santa and a train it was.....The beginning was great meeting at a train station station and seeing our children's eyes light up as the train pulled forward, boarding the train it was very well lit with Christmas lights and decor. Once everyone boarded the train departed and proceed for aprox 10 minuites until it stopped... We saw a "train worker" walk past to the engine of the train everyone was cracking jokes that the train broke down and after 15 minuites of not moving I was starting to believe it my self. A man and women past by the aisle singing Christmas carols one with a guitar the other with a tambourine, Santa and elf and a women dressed as I'm not sure mrs Claus maybe but in green, greeted each child which was good.... Then the train started to move back tward the station and continued for about 5 minuites then Stopped again...... Continued and stopped for a bit longer until it seems each child had a turn with santa then it moved again faster than before back to the station and that was it...... It was basically an experience ... A train ride, santa, and well a hot chocolate that required excessive stirring without a stick and a stale ginger bread man all in all for $25 each I hope my child enjoyed it as that's really what it's all about.... My 2 cents

What could be more exciting for a little kid so close to Christmas!!? Carols, hot chocolate, cookies and a visit with Santa all on a moving train! We've been twice and can say staff did a great job! my only complaint is it could be longer!Get your tickets early as these sell out fast!

Fun, great experience to share with your kids, family and friends. Santa comes to each seat and each child gets a turn on Santas lap. Santas helpers serve cookies and hot chocolate.

The scenery from the rail car of the Niagara Escarpment through the Orangeville Golf course and the Forks of the Credit was a perspective not seen from the county roads.

We had such a terrible time on this trip, we were counting down the time until it was over. It was caused by the people who were sitting next to us. They were terribly rude, playing videos on their cell phone so loudly, and trying to disturb us. They were upset we would not trade spots with their friends so they were trying to make our trip miserable - and they succeeded. I decided to try to find someone to ask them to turn down the volume on their videos on the cell phone - the only person available was the hot chocolate lady who was so busy she wasn't able to help. So I contacted customer service a few days later - to my surprise, they responded to say that was not their job. I told them I bought a "Fun Filled Family Outing" per their website and was very disappointed they did not have someone who could help us. They have ignored me ever since. What poor customer service! I feel it was a real waste of money. We traveled over 1 hour, one way, just to ride the train. After dealing with this rude family and the terrible customer service which seems to not care about customer satisfaction, so long as they got your money, I will not be back and would not recommend them to a friend.
