Easy to find and weel maintained, except perhaps the gravel road going in. LOTS of pot holes. Nice little harbour with good protection except North winds. Covered picnic pavilion BUt, and here is a small drawback, the washroom facilities are always locked. Kids have to go wee/wee in the lake ?

We've gone to Highland Glen with all the kids and now the grandkids every year for as long as I have been a grownup! It's always welcoming and clean, never too crowded, and is wonderfully relaxing. Great for sitting and picknicking while the kids run around down by the water.

A quiet small park with a grassy area for the children to run about. A small beach with some sand in places with small gravel mix. A wonderful access for kayak and canoe entry onto Lake Huron. Check for wind conditions, you do not want much more than 5km from the North, otherwise much more heavy swells and mini white caps for the paddlers. South winds are no problem. An excellent boat ramp for fishing, ski boat enthusiast. Also a charm for wave runners. Best part, no charge. Located 10 miles north of 402, using hwy 21 exit and north on Heritage rd, till the road ends. Driveway off slightly to the right across the road. Its quiet safe and access from the U.S.A Michigan Port Huron. Best you fuel for the boat, propane for the B.B.Q.
