The park is very beautiful. Lots of good trails to walk on. The river is very pretty. The park was closed for cars the day we went...had to walk down to the water...but we were there to walk anyways...so all good.Ice creamGood selection of ice cream. They have a selection of peanut safe too which was nice as one of our group has that allergy.Prices were very good.A little hot inside the place...and could use a little touch up...but we were there for the ice cream and not the atmosphere anyways.

The ice cream was to die for the owner took very good care of my family to the point of giving our grandson who didn't want a cone a free sample. The park was clean and the play grounds were save for the kids to play.

With the family it is the best place to spend a couple of hours there to relax and play with the kids!Very easy to park the car, you just follow the way in the forest then go down the hill to find the parking lot. You can already hear the soothing sound of the waterfalls! The waterfalls: you'll find stairs that you will keep following. The playground: has a couple of swings and seesaws, and lots of grass to run or play with whatever you get to your kids. There are a couple of benches by the water if you want to eat.The trail: walking or biking there is so relaxing. One thing to absolutely get with you: bug repellent!!

Love to walk here . There are trails at all levels of difficulty . Bike trails are available . Trees are gorgeous at this time of year, lots of color . Terrific little walk to a very pretty waterfall , easy walk, not strenuous . Can drive down the hill and park at the bottom , then walk to the falls or sit by the small lake . There is a small playground below the hill for any little ones . Plenty of parking in the area . Ice cream shop is a must on a hot day . Could spend many hours here, just enjoying the nature of the area . Peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. Washrooms are available .

We spent the morning at Kinsman Park and had a wonderful time. We really enjoyed hiking up to the falls and exploring some of the trails within the park. Be aware that there are some bugs and you may want to use bug spray before you head out onto the trails. (We were glad we did.) The kids loved the falls, catching frogs down by the lake, and the teeter-totters. (So few playgrounds in our area still have them.) After our picnic lunch we stopped by the bathrooms (latrines) before we left. Once we were on our way, my husband was kicking himself for not bringing his fishing pole - he was certain the lake was full of fish just waiting to come home with him!
