Excellent sight lines, not a bad seat in the house. Sound system could hurt your ears but it adds to the excitement, especially when the Greyhounds are winning, which is pretty often!

We visited when we had overseas company. Attended a hockey game and it was a first in the new venue for us....we have been to 9 NHL venues and this lovely little arena compared easily to the smaller NHL arenas. very pleased and a good game too!!!

I have been for hockey games and concerts and must say I it is a very versatile arena. Great layout for food services and the toilets are decent as well!

Went to a concert there. Acoustics were great. Concessions were crazy priced. Place is clean, lots of security. But don't eat there!

always good concerts and shows at the Essar, staying downtown at the Quality Inn and Suites, shopping close by, everything within 5 minutes of the Essar.

Every seat was pretty much a great seat for hockey games, but we attended two different concerts in the Essar Centre and it wasn't the ideal venue. When it came time to hear what the artists were saying or singing, there was too much "echoing" sound to make it very clear. The venue is sufficiently large and there seems to be an adequate number of restrooms. The seas are okay, but not padded, just what you would expect from a sports arena.

They did a great job with this arena. Sure it could be bigger with another ice pad but overall watching hockey is awesome at this arena and since that is the main purpose it gets a perfect score.

Price was great of OHL hockey. Tickets weren't hard to get. Not a bad seat in the house. Vendors in the aisles offered (beer, peanuts, chips, soft drinks etc Patrons were a bit rowdy but that only added to the atmosphere. I'd go again any time.

I bought 2 tickets to see Bryan Adams for my mom's birthday. Essar must not know how the arena will be set up prior to selling tickets. We were seated in the front row of section 118 with 3 other ladies. These seats should never be sold! The band had all their carry cases and sound equipment set up there. You could not see Bryan Adams unless he came and stood on one of the stands set up in the corner. He'd only do that for a minute or two, and then he'd disappear again. After about a 1/2 hour, an Essar Centre employee told us that we'd be able to move over to section 119, if no one else sat there. We moved over and sat practically BEHIND the band! What a rip off!

Quebec(9) playing the Sault(2) during the Telus Cup. Seating was good, lots of room, washrooms were big and clean, fast service at the concession, prices are fair. Cost was $10.00 per person. Was a good night out while visiting the Sault for our Open Ice 3 on 3 hockey tournament.

Seating was excellant for see the whole ice surface. Food outlet situated at all 4 corners, typical rink food and high prices.

Went to a greyhound hickey game while in town for a fundraiser. Purchased tickets at the door and got seats on the glass for 3 people!!! Good hockey game (been great if the home team would have won) nice facilities and food available and FREE PARKING!!!! I would return.

Good seats. Not really a bad seat in the house. Can see everything where ever you sit. Clean, seemed well maintained.
