I had a blast at Rivervalley for their winter tube slides. I went with my niece and nephew and I have to say they were very tired at the end of the day. A lot of waking and pulling your tube up the hill. Thankfully they have a moving ramp for the most of it. There are eight runs so you never have to wait long. they also have a fire pit outside to keep warm and a bar which has hot chocolate, Apple cider, cold drinks and the usually hot dog, fries, onion rings etc. Cost 18 bucks for two hours. Worth the cost and surprisingly two hours is more than enough. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit

I remember going tubing here when I was a kid. It was one of the best experiences I had, and I was so excited for the opportunity to take my 10 year old son to share a similar experience. The high prices wouldn't be so bad if they incorporated their original rules again. At the bottom of the lift, it states no more than 4 persons per group, but at the top, a hand written sign states no more than 2. We paid $18/adult & $16/child for 2 hours. We didn't get 10 runs out of that time.We had a group of 5, so there was always one person on their own for every run which was disappointing. Because they have incorporated this new rule, the line-ups take an average of 15-20 minutes...and we were told this was not a busy day. I understand that they are being cautious, but perhaps a bit overly. It used to be the responsibility of the people at the bottom of the hill to watch out for the other tubers coming down the hill. The fun has been taken right out of this place for me. I won't be returning unless they allow people to take responsibility for themselves and their kids again...I suppose I am not surprised since we are now living in a bubble wrapped society.

What a charming and affordable venue to have a pub style lunch. Either for golfers or hikers on the Thames Valley trail this a bargain and a delightful stopover!

My children, ages 4, 5, and 7 loved it! It isn't cheap but is great once a year fun. The lift is easy to use.

The tube slides are fun and exillerating, a great way to get out for some fresh air and fun in the winter months. Could have had more snow but the areas that were covered helped to make for a great fun filled day.

Our whole family (10 of us) went tubing on New Year's Eve, 2011 and had so much fun. We still talk about how much we enjoyed it and will definitely do it again.

Took our youth group there in the evening...very fun and exciting. The staff were fun and strong to spin us down the hill. Can't wait to go back.

If you're looking for a fun trip to play in the snow check out the winter tubing at River Valley. We've been a few times now and we've all had so much fun ! For $17 you get a 2 hr. pass or for $28 you can ride all day but 2 hours seems long enough. There are 2 hills to choose from and each hill has 4 lanes to tube down. The best part is there is a lift that pulls you up the hill as you sit in your tube and relax. After the fun you can warm up in the chalet with food or a drink of warm apple cider of hot chocolate. We love it !
