I just want to say that this is a beautiful place to hold a function. My family and I attended the 1ST Annual CUPE 2331 Picnic at the Green Acres part of the park. It was a fantastic day with many things to do both as a family and for the kids as well. There was a live band that played througout the day with great music from today and yesteryear. The Magician was a great hit with the kids his show was great not to mention that he allowed the kids to come up and hold all of the animals after the performance. The kids were treated to FREE sno-cones, popcorn, cotton candy, and pizza. There was also a BBQ from the Knights of Columbus and let me tell you the food was amazing from Giant Hambugers to Huge Sausages and HotDogs and to wash it all down with a soda or water and the soda reference is for all of our American Friends across the boder. There was also Balloon Makers for the kids and free tattoos. We were also treated to a beautiful Family Photo as well as a Frisbee and T-Shirt all of course FREE from the Union. There was money Donated to the Autism Foundation and the Vaughan Food Bank as well as non-perishabled items donated by the people attending the event so a win win for the community as well. There was a silent Auction with great prizes and a dunk tank that our Union President Elena DiNardo was so excited to be a part of as she was dunked over and over again for a good cause she was a great sport. The York Region Police were represented by officer Tony who gave the kids a chance to check out the latest police car and its technology and of course as my girls always say their Boys were there as well the Firefighters with their truck and the Gilrs got a chance to put on their helmets, air tanks and jackets and we took the time do a photo as well. To all of the people who volunteered their time it was greatly appreciated. The park was also hosting several other BBQ's and the Terry Fox run as well and I must say that I was impressed at how clean the park was and that the washrooms were very clean and they even had sinks outside for washing your hands. This was my first time here and I am sure it won't be my last. I don't think that you can put a price on happiness with your family and I would suggest strongly to people to come and visit this beautiful park. Thank-s for a great family experience.

Spent the day here and for a park that charges $6 per person is not acceptable. Not a well maintained park especially not to mention the bathrooms, should be spotless ..This place should not be charging people for a regular park.will not be returning.
