This is one of the newer attractions to the Niagara scene, a fascinating place to wile away an hour or two getting up close to thousands of butterflies in a controlled atmosphere. The conservatory offers walking paths around this climate controlled facility, which takes one to all nooks and crannies of the glass enclosed building, with various places to sit, relax and enjoy the butterflies and the inteersting array of plant life,

We love the Niagara Falls Parks Butterfly Conservatory. It's always a great way to spend a few hours enjoying all of the beauty and nature in its natural habitat with all of the flowers and plants and it's especially nice when the butterflies land on you. The prices weren't bad considering how long you can stay. We took our grandchildren there and they still ask us when they can go again. We really enjoyed going and we will definitely go there again with the family.

Well it is what it is basically. Worth the visit considering there really isn't much to do in Niagara Falls. It was really cool seeing all the butterflys, they would even land on your finger. I haven't been to any other butterfly places so can't really compare to any others, but after this I would go to another if I was on vacation nearby.

As part of our Wonder Pass package we visited the Butterfly Conservatory. Our pass was $19.99 which include this, two other attractions and the WEGO bus (hop 'n go). The pass was great value as admission to the conservatory is $13.95 on it's own. There is a charge of $5.00 to park the car. However if you are riding the WEGO bus, there is a stop right at the conservatory. It was a nice break from the cold temperatures outside. Inside is 80F (26 C). You can either hang up or coat or keep them with you. We opted to keep with us since the coat rack did not seem secure. It is not a huge building but it sure is beautiful to see all the butterflies. The path does a loop bringing you out into a souvenir store. So many different kinds of butterflies with brilliant colours. They just fly all around as you walk through and even land on people. Some children seemed a little frightened as they do fly right in front of you. At times there can be several around you.Aside from all the butterflies it is a beautiful flower garden. Great place for taking photos for sure.Don't think you would be disappointed in a visit.

Such a magical experience to see all the butterflies especially when they land on you and you can take photos with them.

A friend who was visiting asked if we could go to the butterfly conservatory. I had no desire to go but in the interest of being a good host, we went. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I am not a huge fan of butterflies. I particularly don't like caterpillars. But the butterflies were very pretty and it was fun watching my friend when one landed on her. I didn't want any landing on me. It's an interesting and fun lace to visit. Visually well done inside. It is also priced well so anyone can afford to go. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

I cannot remember how much we paid but if you do have someone interested in butterflies, it is something to see. It does not take long to go through.

We took our 3.5 year old daughter to the butterfly conservatory on route to Niagara Falls. It was a lovely little stop. The price was reasonable for adults and my daughter was free. The conservatory is great for children and adults alike. We explored the nocturnal exhibit and then entered the butterfly conservatory. The butterflies are beautiful. It was a sunny day and they were very active. Many landed on us. We all enjoyed watching the butterflies hatching from their cocoons. The whole experience lasted about an hour and was very enjoyable. One note - we arrived right at noon and ate lunch in the cafe. It was mediocre at best. The selection was very limited and two things that my husband asked for were not available (chicken ceasar wrap and soup). We both ended up with burgers and fries that were expensive and not very good. We would have stopped for lunch elsewhere if we had known. The ladies serving were friendly and helpful but it was just not a great experience.
