Been here a couple of times and always leave with some kind of goodie. Love that can get apples & apple cider from the little spot from Wolfville without the travel also love the meat & sweats place that is on the other side by the 2nd entrance near the boardwalk.

I found this market to be fabulous. It was lively but not overly crowded considering it was a Saturday morning when I went. They had everything from local wine to Canadian whiskey, from cupcakes to beeswax candles and jewelry. If I lived nearby I would buy the bulk of my goods from here.

Always something to see at this market and such a cozy atmosphere. Different venders on Saturday and Sunday - if you're looking for more variety go on Saturday but if you want a laid back market experience Sunday is the day for you.

Stopped in Saturday morning, it's a busy spot with music, food and many vendors selling their wares.Had a great breakfast with coffee at Norbert's and spent the morning browsing.

The Market was selling there wares, and it really depended on the time of year you go, if you like fresh things. But the Alexander Keith Brewery is there and it is a big attraction to tourist and you can buy there clothing .

A bit of live music, lots of people watching, great smells of different food filling the air.....what more can one ask for? This was our first trip to this market and we were very impressed. We were able to grab a nice breakfast and pick up some unique Christmas presents from local artists. Check this place out. It's worth the trip...

Got some great bread from Amish People booth while my friend bought all her gluten free items I took double loaf of whole wheat for $3.00,Prices were great there, some a bit high. First time in years I'd been here but will try to make it monthly.

This was a nice small market. here was produce and crafts, with a few places to get something to eat. It is very convenient to the cruise ship crowd. We were there late in the season so I think in season it would be more lively.

Saturday was a better day to go then sunday as there are more vendors. Lots of crafts, food, and places to grab breakfast/coffee. It was busy and had a great buzz. Did a bunch of Xmas shopping

I love the Halifax Seaport Farmers market. You can find everything there from crafts, local wines, cupcakes, handmade jewellery, fresh vegetables to Jamaican food. Some of my favourite places to stop while in the market are the Avondale Sky Winery booth, the lobster roll booth, and the place that sells Antiguan food. It can get quite busy, but it's still a really nice place to spend a Sunday morning. Since it is inside, the weather doesn't matter, rain or shine you can enjoy some time here. There is no fee to enter the market, and there are cash machines located inside. I don't believe any places inside take debit, so we always bring cash.

Came in on Royal Princess, weather was horrible. Was a pleasant surprise to have this market close to the ship. The market no only has produce, but offers handmade items, such as jewelry, yarns, quilts, etc. Also several places to eat.

Farmer's markets are one of my favorite things and this is one of the best. Nice mix of fresh produce, food vendors, crafts, bakeries, butchers, seafood, cheese. I had a tomato, basil, and mozzarella crepe for breakfast and it was the best. Chat with the cooks while you watch them make your crepe. It was busy and took awhile, but it was well worth it.However, watch your change. I bought some apples (really good apples) from one of the produce vendors and it took two tries to get the right change. Usually I think it's just a mistake, but this time I'm not sure.

We were in Halifax on a cruise on a Saturday morning and decided to check out the farmer's market and we were so glad that we did. It is huge and jam packed with fresh vegetables, seafood, baked goods and other neat treats and crafts. Many vendors offered free samples: yummy! There is no admission fee and it adjoins the beautiful cruise terminal. It is definitely worth a visit!
