Just got back from a weekend camping here for the first time. It is after the labor day long weekend so we shared the whole campground with one other couple. Super quiet. They have a generater policy to keep noise down that was nice to read about. There is a boat launch and some trails to walk around the campsite and down by the beach area. The water was warmer than I thought it would be for this time of year. We bought firewood for $20 for a row on the back of a pick up or a wheel barrow full. Out houses only no showers. The camp host and operaters were both super friendly. We stayed in campsite 24 overlooking the lake and only steps from the beach. What a great place to have your morning coffee. The viewpoint is worth stopping at a bit too far to walk though from the campsite. There are lots of sites you can see the lake from. Don't forget peanuts for the squirrels.
