The road is rough but it's worth the drive to the top. breathtaking views. It's worth stopping at the little pull offs to check out the views on the way up. There is not much chance to look around if you're driving!

Breathtaking, words can not describe! Up at the summit by 9:30 am but we were in the clouds. Waited 3 hours until all the clouds moved out to get great pictures. Then continued to drive on the gravel road down the other side of the mountain. At the end an active mine in operation. By the time we drove back up the mountain to the glacier summit, it was raining and clouds everywhere and cold. Check the weather forecast before heading up to the glacier, if clouds and rain, will not be able to see any of the glacier.

The area but mostly the glacier are amazing due to the glacier size. It definitely worth the detour or a 2 day trip from Vancouver !
