    这绝对是一个 小而精的国家公园。山比较高,盘山公路要开二十多分钟,经常在云层中穿行。到了山顶再徒步20分钟可以到山尖,俯瞰哥伦比亚河,云层都在脚下,太壮观了。

Greta little ski hill. We skied on an icy day so much better after the sun had warmed up. Probably an awesome hill if you get fresh powder. Friendly staff and great gondolas/lifts. Most of the good runs a re black diamond. Blue and green runs appear to be trails between the black runs.

A beautiful park with the ability to enjoy the elevation without the grunt work to hike to the top. It is a beautiful place with the only negative being the crowds you may encounter due to the easy accessibility to the top of the mountain.

We didn't have this NP on our must-see list, but after going there when we had a spare afternoon during our 3 week trip we are very glad we did. The Meadows In The Sky parkway was filled with lovely spots and views and the walks up the top were great too. We loved it so much we vistied a second time on our way back from the Rockies. Do yourself a favour and come prepared with snacks and a picnic to enjoy some hiking and a lovely part of the world.

As you go through the Ranger Lodge at the start of this drive they warn you that it is 26kms long and there are 16 switchbacks to negotiate. What they don't say is that the speed limit is 50 kmh in most places going down to 20 kmh round the hairpins and so it takes a good half hour to 40 minutes to get to the top (without stopping). However, the view are beautiful and well worth it. We were there during their 100th anniversary celebrations and there were activities up at the top but due to the crowds the road to the top was closed. So it was either a shuttle bus (every half hour or so) or walk the short 1km. We went up on the bus and walked around the short pathways that eventually take you towards the pretty firetower although there were plenty of other paths that had walks of short, medium and long durations. At the top you have gained about a thousand meters in height and so the views around are quite spectacular, better towards the West than they are to the East but it all depends on your perspective (and which way you are facing!). No food available in the NP and so make sure you bring your picnic with you.

I've been up here multiple times, its about a 25KM drive up to the parking lot, then a 1km walk/hike to the summit. There is a shuttle for those that are not able to get up there. At the top, there is an old restored fire watch building as well as a walk around the summit, which at the right time of the year has alpine flowers blooming. There are other longer hikes that you can take here if you have more time, check with Parks Canada for more information. Note: this is a national park and requires a park pass, there is a booth at the gate. Also, depending upon the warmth of the summer and the length of the winter, it may not be accessible until mid to late July, with flowers usually in the last week of July or 1st week of August. As you drive up, there are a few stops of interest that tell you about the history of Revelstoke and the surrounding mountains. Once at the top, you will have a 360 degree view of everything around you.In the past year, they changed a lot of the signs on the alpine walk, in fact, gone are all the signs about the Fridge, the interesting curiousity I spoke about. This is a large crevace in the rocks that is filled with snow and it remains with snow in it all year. There used to be a sign here telling you that the first nations people used to store food here. This is well worth the drive and the trip to the summit, there is nothing else in Revelstoke to give you these views, not even the summer gondola at Revelstoke Mountain Resort gives you this kind of view.

We enjoyed a wonderful walk on the day of their 100 year celebrations. Apart from the great scenery from the top they had traditional mountain horn blowers to add to the experience.

You have to drive the Meadows in the Sky parkway and then go up to the top of Mt. Revelstoke for amazing views over the Columbia River.

There seem to be great views wherever you go in Western Canada, but the world as seen from the top of Mount Revelstoke (yes, the top - it's accessible by road and a short hike) is a beautiful place. No matter how good your camera is, no photos can do the place justice.

The door will close at 6:30 pm and you have to be one time. The last shuttle bus to the summit is at 5:20 pm. Unfortunatly I were there in the afternoon, but the viewings are amazing - altough I was not on the summit.

We changed our itinerary at the last minute to include a detour to this park. Glad we did. The views from the mountain are great. We took the drive up to the parking area near the peak and hiked the rest of the way. There is a shuttle service for those who don't want to hike. There are a few really nice trails near the summit. the hikes are easy and pleasant. The views from the summit are really great. If you are going to drive to the summit, take a short hike or two, and stop at an over look or two allow at least 3-4 hours, maybe more. the time spent will be worth it.

Meadows in the Sky Parkway drive is a must to see the Rainforest, Snowforest, Subalpine and Alpine eco systems and views of the valley. Takes about 3 hours, speed limit on the road is only 20km because of some rare species. Just a little further out from town is the Giant Cedars (more rainforest), Skunk Cabbage trail and the Hemlock grove. All beautiful terrain that you would never know was here in British Columbia. Very accessible for most people with walking disabilities. There are cabins stocked with wood and a stove for any park user's use to enjoy the view. Definitely, a place to return to.

The park is a very short distance out of town by a 25 km drive up to the top. Unfortunately we had picked a day when a celebration was going on at the park so vehicle parking was not easy. The trails were crowded and with all the people on the trails the noise level was up so the birding was difficult. The park, however, is very picturesque and well worth going to. There is a fee as this is a federal park.

Loved the views and walks. A pleasant drive to the top. Would go earlier in the summer next time to see the wildflowers at their best.
