dvc ventures indoor gun range

From our group of four at least two persons came to shoot from rifle with .22 ammo, which is $15. This ammo appeared to be marked as "sold out" on the blackboard at the reception. There was no notification on the website. The next least expensive ammo was $35. I explained the situation to the receptionist and asked for a discount. They refused. We explained again; the response was very cold. Not to undermine our friends, we stayed despite being disappointed with this type of attitude. [Side note: While shooting we saw .22 rounds on the floor (which theoretically could have been from a Member, who happened to come at the same time, and was using their own ammo.)] Will never go there again: attitude and prices.

I discovered DVC about five years ago, as my older daughter found a “Groupon” coupon for the establishment. I hadn’t fired guns for many years, as in my younger years I enjoyed the hobby/sport immensely. So off we went to DVC for our coupon visit, and, I must say as I soon as I walked in, I was re-hooked to shooting sports. The display case boasts an impressive display of firearms in many sizes and calibers. Feel like being “Dirty Harry”, no worries DVC can scratch your itch! Want something less ominous, no problem, perhaps a .22 pistol will give you enough “pop”! No matter what your preference, the crew at DVC can set you up with a fully supervised, no problem, very rad BANG, BANG session! No gun license you say, well, no worries! Just bring your government ID, and they’ll take care of everything else.The range itself is state-of-the-art with excellent ventilation, moving target mount system, and very clean conditions. Just make sure you always have your ear protection on, as once you pull the trigger, under staff supervision of course, the party really gets started big time! I/we thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and felt safe the entire time. In fact after our visit, I took one of the many firearms courses taught at the range, and eventually received my government license to continue my hobby. Oh yes, I also became a member, and have enjoyed using DVC’s facilities for many years now. As of late, due to huge demand, DVC has expanded their facilities to accommodate the many patrons and law enforcement professionals who use their range, so it’s pretty much always possible to come and shoot. If you’ve always wanted to handle and shoot a firearm, then get out of your chair, turn off the game system, and do it for real! Nothing like picking up a .44 Magnum and pulling the trigger! Game systems can’t touch it. Give it a whirl, and I know you’ll love it! Cheers!

First time at a shooting range had a great time Juan Pablo was excellent and very knowledgeable, he made the experience memorable! Would definitely return.

As a nervous first-timer I was totally impressed with the amazing staff and overall professionalism. We had Mo whose guidence and patience put me at ease and made this an amazing experience. Fridays are ladies night so I got in free, and even with my hubby's entry and ammo costs it was only $100...making it an affordable date night I'll never forget!!! Will definately be going back soon.

The staff were really friendly and the environment was overall amazing( controlled, safe and fun)! It was my first time going and it couldn't have gone any better! We had Shawn and Peter and they were both really friendly (: definitely recommend going!

I have visited this range a couple of times with friends who are members. The staff have been friendly, professional, and courteous. I've enjoyed my visits enough that I'll probably purchase a membership. I haven't fired any of the firearms they have on offer, but I have been on the range when others were and the staff helping them seemed to be doing a great job.It can get very busy in the range and, if I had one complaint, it would be that the quarters get a bit tight. I'd like to see a small shelf or something along the back wall to store items on and under, as well as a few hooks to hang jackets and so on. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend the place.

We came with a group of four first time shooters and had a great time. Staff was friendly and very informative. They really take their time with you and make sure you know what you're doing. This place is operated very well, we all felt very safe. We first came on a Saturday, but decided to come back on a Wednesday as it was super super busy.

We did a group of eight of us for a corporate event. The staff were extremely professional and geared toward safety first at all times. A few of our group had zero experience with firearms and by the end of it were all eager to try their hand one more time at a lane. Just a great outing all around. One note, we paid for a bronze package to ensure a reservation. This was key as by the time we came out there was a line out the door!Highly recommended, special shoutout to Glen our safety instructor!

Loved the friendly staff and definitely worth the trip. This is something everyone needs to experience at least once in their life.

I think it is BC's only indoor shooting range, so if you like shooting, definitely visit this place. It's a lot of fun and it's affordable.
