The White Rock Museum is in the former Great Northern Railway train station on the waterfront and promenade in White Rock. Recently renovated, the museum has lots of artifacts from White Rock's early days as well as the railway. The photographs are especially intriguing as they let us see how this seaside community has changed over the last 130 or so years. The gift shop has a number of very attractive items for sale that reflect the skills of local artists.Well worth a visit when walking the promenade or dining along the Marine Drive strip.

The museum is small but has a nice gift shop and brings back memories of old time White Rock - Elvis Presley once stopped here!

Not to many days pass without stopping at the White Rock Museum. The benches out front make for a good comfortable stop while walking the promenade. The ever changing displays inside come and go frequently and over the years the many visits have been very informative and refreshing. I get bored quickly and this is one museum that seems to spark my interests repeatedly on the history and facts about White Rock and the Semiamhoo Bay where I have resided for the last 18 years.

Articles and facts about White Rock history is all in one place. Nice view outside the museum. A plce where u can go crabbing and fishing with once in a while coal train carrier passing by. A place you can alway feel relax away from busy life of the city

Took a step back in time to enjoy the exhibit Play On! Sport and Recreation of Times Gone By. Nice little Museum with a location right off the Promenade in the West Beach. Worth a stop in, the upcoming exhibits look very interesting!

A great place to stop by to learn some of the local history of White Rock. The museum was renovated a few years ago and looks great.Stop by for a visit, its worth a look.

Located on the main strip of White Rock Beach, it is well worth to spend a few minutes in this small museum. Entrance is very reasonable. It has a few good displays and tell about the history of the quaint sea-side town. Kids will like it—they have a "I spy" game card for kids to spot certain items in the two room. I would not make a special effort to go here, but if you are wandering by the pier area, go in.

Celebrating 100 years of White Rock, there is currently a wonderful display at the Museum and Archives. Admission by donation. There is also a silent auction on many photographs "then and now" Worth a visit.

We visited the museum this past January and found it very informative about the history of the White Rock beach and local area. it was interesting to see the pictures over time showing what the pier and old train station looked like and when you go outside and compare it to what you see today it makes you reflect on the changes that have taken place. Living in White Rock I would recommend a visit to not only visitors to this area but also to residents.
